Beware , Dreadful Attitude !We were due to stay at the hotel for a long weekend 21-24 August , to attend the wedding of some dear friends , however , as everyone across the globe knows Covid 19 spoilt many many happy plans. We contacted the hotel in July to simply ask if we could postpone our stay until safer times next year as my husband has severe asthma and could not risk the travel etc . We received a very unsympathetic reply, greeting us from sunny Greece , very patronising , then informing us that this was a no cancellation booking ! They did not offer any alternatives and did not even acknowledge the request to simply postpone , it was a straight no, you should have read the terms etc they even invoiced us for a no show !!!! The Groom from the wedding who is from Greece even rang them to explain our situation, so we emailed them again after that conversation, but they were equally dismissive . We were extremely disappointed and upset as even the airlines were offering alternatives !!! What a dreadfully hardfaced attitude they have !! Our advice to future expectant guests is to make sure you read the small print very carefully and do not expect any empathy from the hotel owners !!

You'll get no sympathy here!I booked for a stay at this hotel months in advance - unfortunately didn't read the small print. Corona comes along; I have a medical condition (and our airline also cancelled our flight). So, I emailed the hotel fully ONE MONTH in advance of our visit date, explaining the full circumstances. I get told "it was a no refund booking". Unwilling to refund, unwilling to issue a voucher, unwilling to change to another date next year. Basically: "you've lost your money mate" My Greek friend spoke directly to the hotel and he was told it would be sorted if we emailed again, explaining the circumstances, which we did do - only to be told exactly the same thing again: computer says no. I get that in normal times, it may not be possible to refund (albeit a month out, I'd expect to be able to at least change dates, possibly for a small re-booking fee etc.). But under these circumstances - cancelled flights, health and a viral pandemic - it is disgraceful that absolutely NOTHING at all was offered, no voucher or date change, despite my explaining the situation to the hotel, in writing via email, FOUR WEEKS in advance of the date of our stay (and again later also). I shall be taking the matter up with my credit card providers.

Outstanding in every wayWhat can I say? We arrived a little early for check-in but expertly handled by the exceptional Despina on Reception. What a polite, helpful and charming young lady. A real credit to the hotel. during the paperwork formalities, we were offered a welcome drink and then went to our room. This was very large (thanks to an upgrade) with a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool. The fixtures and fittings both here and throughout the hotel were absolutely first class. Lovely materials and very striking, modern decor made for a beautiful ambiance. But the best was yet to come....First morning at breakfast we had the most fantastically warm welcome from Stavoula. She then went on to provide the most outstanding service whilst delivering their new Covid style breakfast feast. She is a star. Our stay was quite brief but all staff that we came into contact with were amaing and the whole facility was immaculate. All Covid protocols were applied strictly and you could see the real effort that the staff were putting in to making things work seemlessly in the new world. During our afternoon at the pool Anton was always ready to serve, entertain and educate us on any and every topic. Do not hesitate, just book with absolute confidence. Three cheers for a superb team effort that delivered the ultimate hotel experience.

Athens rivieraI spent 4 wonderful days at Somewhere Athens Vouliagmeni and they went too fast. The staff is lovely, Ill particularly miss that woman who served the breakfast for my sister an I every morning and would remember what we both liked. Her smile was contagious and she was so nice. 2 take away meals have been prepared for us the day of our departure as we were leaving pretty early at 6am which I thought was such a kind gesture. Nothing but peaceful vibes from the entire staff. My first impression visiting Greece I must say the quality of food left me speechless - the breakfast at the hotel left me wondering about the level we have in France. Globally it was an amazing stay, I totally recommend this hotel!

Perfect boutique hotelGreece was in lockdown and we decided to stay near Athens but in the nice suburbs so we picked this hotel. We booked the top floor suite which had a huge terrace overlooking the bay. The food here was super good. Breakfast always top notch with delicious Greek specialities. Service was also really superb. We were actually the last guests of the season as they closed due to the lockdown. I hope they reopen when measures decrease. This is the perfect place to stay for luxury in a small boutique hotel.
