  Un hotel con personalidad

  Este hotel emplazado en una pequeña y acogedora calle esta perfectamente decorado. La mezcla entre lo clásico y lo moderno, el toque artístico de cada habitación, la construcción sencilla con detalles en madera y lo increíblemente amable del personal hace de este hotel un lugar único para alojarse unos días y explorar Beitou y el resto de Taipei.

  Solo Singer is wonderful!

  I lived in Taiwan in 2011 and was excited to come back with my partner and our young daughter. Solo Singer was the perfect landing place for our trip. The staff were friendly and communicative. They helped us arrange efficient and affordable airport pickup, and gave great recommendations. The space itself was clean and comfortable, and in a great location. We walked to the hot springs and around Beitou, and were able to take the MRT easily. I highly recommend staying at Solo Singer!

  The Solo Singer has great charm. The staff are wonderfully kind and friendly and made us feel totally at home. The breakfast was beautiful (I specially loved the homemade bread made from corn, without any flour). The hostel has a lovely reading lounge on the top floor and another one full of cushions on the ground floor where guests can play the guitar if they are so inclined. I nearly forgot to mention the divine-smelling soap and shampoo, specially selected after careful thought to be as kind to the environment as possible. I highly recommend the Solo Singer. It's a haven in a world full of noise and bustle.

  Real Beitou culture

  So nice to see an alternative to the standard boutique hotels. The staff were all very polite, helpful and speak Mandarin and English. Rooms are super clean and quiet. Refreshing to have no TV in the room. One of the concepts behind the hotel is to promote real local urban culture and food which for me is fun and interesting. Highly recommended!

  A gem to remember, and to return to.

  Solo Singer gives you a place to breathe, to smell the Beitou air, and feel the freedom youve suddenly found. It is what you want it to be, and while each room is designed by artists according to their medium of choice, and their own experiences of Beitou and that storied little alley where the hotel is situated, their visions of its past or present is never foisted upon you. Instead, they gently suggest the might-have-been, could-be, and as-is. The room is merely comfortable. In other words, perfect. Tinn, Heather, Kim and others were kind and helpful, and most of all, sincere. A postcard is placed in a tray in your room, and Tinn encouraged me to send one home. All i had to do was to write it and they would post it for me. When I protested that it would take too long to reach Singapore, way after I have arrived home, Tinn said,Why not write one to yourself, so you have something to look forward to when you get home? I am now waiting for that reminder of my stay at Solo Singer, and dreaming of the time when I will go back there again.
