Two nights at Solar do Espirito Santo on the Valentine´s day.Very nice place, a lot ot confort on the rooms and all the hotel facilities, with a very country side look and good tast decoration. Very good for a quiet walk around the garden by the swimming pool and to have a look at the horses on the boxes, or just spend a few time reading a book on the several garden chairs at our disposal.

Great place to stay and great horse riding!!We stayed in this place for a week and it was fantastic! I did horse riding every day and my wife could relax by the pool. Very good accomodation, well trained horses, good facilities, lot's of wine, good food and finally very friendly people. The trainer was also a very nice andprofessional guy. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes horse riding as Golega / Azinhaga are wellknown for the Lusitano "culture". We will come back for sure!!

"2 nights completely different"This was a pleasant stay in " horse country" in a delightful part of Portugal. The room was fine but a trifle basic. The dinner was minimal and definitely to be avoided as it was poor value for money. Breakfast was first come, best served, if you were late there was little left! I noted that two complimentary drinks from the proprietor were charged on my bill! The historic house was worth the stay alone as were the Lusitano thoroughbreds. The village of Golega, 3 miles away, is fascinating where horses and riders can be seen practising their dressage moves in the communal village arena.

Amazing Stay with Beautiful HorsesWe had a wonderful stay with Pedro. The accommodation was comfortable and the location was perfect to experience the wider area. The riding instruction was attentive yet also allowed us both to enjoy the lessons and trails at our own pace. I would recommend this to riders of any levels, and also non-riders, as there is a beautiful pool area to soak up the sun. We will certainly be returning.
