  If you love the culture of Vietnam, the people and the food then Nha Trang is not the place for you. This is the Gold Coast of Vietnam complete with high rise western hotels along the beach catering to tourists and the prices reflect this. If you've recently been to Phuket you will see the comparisons. If you do decide to stay then the Soho Hotel is one to give a wide berth to. The pictures do not give even a close representation of the hotel. The rooftop pool is small and if you want to enjoy the view of the beach you will have to clean the glass wall first. The staff give the impression that they don't want to be there which is the opposite if hotel staff in places such as Hoi An. Go to Nha Trang if you want to see how western tourism is destroying a traditional location but you might prefer to google or you tube the sights, tick it off and stay in Hoi An.

  Wished I chosen another hotel

  On viewing we thought this hotel would be fine. The location was great. At $60 a night we expected a lot more than what we got. My mums room had this massive bed that took up all the room and seemed clean enough. Our room had a bad smell and you could hardly walk around the bed. The bathrooms were tiny so two people couldnt fit in there. The staff were friendly enough but most couldnt speak English. They have the worst laundry service I have ever experienced in my four visits to Vietnam. One of my white singlets was covered in I dont know what and after waiting for someone to see me about it I got fed up and left the shirt with the receptionist. The breakfasts are not what I would call great at all. They didnt have black tea and both people I was with didnt enjoy the coffee. The bread was stale and there was nothing good there. I wont go back to Nah Trang over priced and everything is geared to the Russians. This hotel was not worth the money at all.

  not to bad

  Small and convenient to central of every thing. Great view from 14th floor and pool deck ,nice friendly staff ,close to beach and eateries .would recommend just a shame its in nha trang . A very built out place.

  Ok place to stay

  Although the rooms were nice overall, there were many ants present in the room, and some of them would go onto the beds and tables. Also, some walls had stains on them. However, the rooms (excluding problems mentioned) and bathroom were generally clean. Service was hit or miss; we had to ask for more toilet paper several times before it came, but towels we requested came quickly. Requested airport transportation was a random guy with a car; no indication of a taxi company or hotel association.

  This hotel is not bad. We had the superior room, which had two rooms. Our room was pretty clean, and nicely styled. Air conditioning worked well and the balcony view was excellent. Nha Trang beach is very close, which is great because you can hop back and forth between beach and the hotel. However, we had a big issue. The room was infested with ants, and they were everywhere. Ants were crawling in the beds, all around the bathroom and would be in clumps sometimes. The staff here aren't really that friendly. We arranged for a taxi to come pick us up at 4:30, and it showed up at 3:45 and wasn't a real taxi. We were woken up by staff because the taxi came early. Even though the reception staff had a sheet of paper that said 4:30 taxi, the worker decided to cross out 4:30 and write 4:00 right in front of us. When we asked for towels, the staff made us bring out all of our used towels and count them before we received new towels. Breakfast is okay, nothing is great except for the eggs that you can have made fresh. Overall, a ho-hum stay, would've been great if it wasn't for the ants and disappointing service.
