  Part of hotel group

  This hotel is part of a group of hotels, access to the pools are free and access to the pools in the Terme Centre are also free. Everything else in offer is at an extra charge. Room is comfortable but plastic furniture on the balcony could be updated to more comfortable version. Robes are provided in the rooms for guests but no slippers. Soap is provided but no body lotions which is odd for a spa hotel. No tea and coffee making facilities or use of iron allowed in the rooms which would enhance comfort for guests. The private beach has a grass area with sunbeds and umbrellas but even as a resident 2 sunbeds and an umbrella will cost 14 Euros per day!!! The hotel also charges per night for car parking at around 5 Euro. These extra charges are disappointing as a guest. Also no English Breakfast Tea available on most mornings, bring your own teabags if you want a nice cup of tea. The hotel is spotlessly clean, most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. If you get a good rate for the room and don't mind paying for all the extras can recommend.

  Vacation...

  We have been in Slovenia for fifth time. We love Slovenia, especially Portorose. Last year we were at hotel Bernardin and was awesome. This year was closer to the center - hotel Mirna. We had half board and " family room" ( little room with an old sofa...) First surprice. Than was booooring way of food. All the same. Almost no change. Breakfast or diner, very poor planning. The funniest was a guy who asked us what we want to drink and we told we want a water. Stil water not cold, we had a baby 2y and girl 5 y... He brought us botled from the supermarket, ICE cold and wrote down a 5 Euro bill..... Later we bought the same water in the local shop for around 0,45 Eur... ... Many strories hanpend there but shortly. Food - you can eat but no surprice. Rooms - old and no surprice ( cleaning service was very nice - she got big tip) Pools in all group = very good, kids were happy. Town = we love it. So next time Portoro yes but until Mirna fires these id.... no more this hotel.

  The Best Hotel Ever

  We are here since yesterday. This is the best hotel of our life. We really love the stuff, the food and all the accomodation. Room is large and clean, wellness is great, the beach is close. Prices are good and the weather is hot. What else? Thank you Mirna! Room 105 guests

  Not so children friendly

  Really nice place, good breakfast, nice pools BUT There are a lot of places what you can not reach by pushchair e.g. see pool. Which is a pity from a children friendly hotel. If you want to go out with a push chair you have 3 choices: 1. You go down on the road which is extremely steep so even if you do it you have to have a good condition to go back with the push chair. 2. You can use the stairs (outside) but then you need somebody who helping to you 3. There are some connections between the three Hotel but there are also lots of stairs which make it difficult. Into the see pool cannot be taken the pushchair. It's not so children friendly in that point of view.

  Bad COVID-19 measures

  Unfortunately we did not feel safe during breakfast with regards to COVID-19. The guests were asked to wear gloves and masks, but most of the guests did not wear them correctly. The staff itself did not wear any gloves at all while touching everything, even when bringing new food to the buffet. They also did not comment on guests who did not apply the rules correctly. Furthermore, the tables were positioned really tight and it was not possible to keep the distance at all. We also gave the feedback to the reception, but unfortunately nothing changed. Additionally, the parking situation is really tight and one has to be very lucky to get a parking lot. One day we were not able to leave the parking lot due to too many cars. The rooms itself are modern and nice. We had a big balcony which was nice even during raining. Unfortunately our shower had some problems with the rinse which was uncomfortable when two people wanted to shower. The Terme is nice and the Massage that we had was really good!
