  Awesome location, average accommodation

  Travelled with 2 young teenage children. The establishment is meters from the beach, which is the source of the blissful ocean sound day and night. It is just outside of Coffs Harbour, which is nice and convenient. Comfortable as a base for the many activities the region has to offer. Unfortunately, the website is seriously out of date. The flashy photos do not materialise into your reality. The units are tired. The one we stayed at featured a rusted stove, the plastic utencils that melt onto your frypan (bough my own just to use on the holiday), floor of questionable cleanliness (could not take my shoes off inside) and old furniture. Management was pleasant to deal with, but could not help me with re-location into a better presented unit. The establishment offers tennis rackets that look like they were used to mine iron ore. Laugh through tears, honestly! The pool is good. The bedding was clean, very flat pillows however. Hope the owners will wake up to themselves to realise that the false advertising cannot go on forever, there will be a disgruntled enough customer (it must rain all their stay) to file a complaint with NSW Fair Trading. I just could not be bothered. Coffs is magical and we had a smashing holiday outside of the establishment. I hope my review will get published :D I do not believe Agoda publishes negative reviews, so please do a good research. All the best, God bless.

  Great, Relaxing Stay

  This was our fifth year staying at Smugglers as a family, thank you to Peter, Sue and staff for a relaxing stay. Rooms are clean, facilities are well maintained, great BBQ and pool area. Beach is a short walk away.

  Small little getaway that is very well managed

  We had the 3-bedroom unit which was spacious, clean and family friendly. The beach is close but better beaches for swimming only 5 minutes in a car - particularly recommend Diggers beach! First time we had stayed in Coffs and was very impressed. Recommended as a longer stay OR few nights to break up a longer drive.

  Everything fantastic

  My family needed a holiday, and we chose Smugglers on the beach in Coffs. We were not disappointed, The room was generous, and exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well appointed, with everything we could want including complementary detergent. The spa bath was a hit, the pool was gorgeous clean and family friendly. The well appointed barbecue area was a bonus, and to lie in bed listening to the ocean was a treat made in heaven. Everything about this place was wonderful. My girls asked if we could live here all the time. Ill be back for sure, (already trying to book us in for another holiday)

  Paradise found!

  This place was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend! Like stepping back in time to a resort in the 1980s but in the best way possible. Resort is older but its super clean, stocked with everything you need including bbq equip and pool toys etc Kids didnt touch an iPad The people who run it Sue and Peter were super friendly and just have done a magnificent job. Gardens are beautiful and right on the beach 10/10
