  Great location

  We went for the Nebuta festival. This is a small, quaint hotel right on the parade route. Very friendly staff. Rooms are small but we were there for the festival so it didn't matter. Room had 2 twin beds. At least there was air conditioning.

  Cheap, god buffet breakfast - But it stinks!

  The staff are really helpful and friendly, and have had a better grasp of English than some larger hotels I have stayed in. Only 3500Y for a single room and breakfast. Great location. My only gripe, and it is quite a major one is that the hotel is not non-smoking. The 3rd floor where I stayed stank of cigarette smoke all the time, as soon as I entered my room I opened the windows, which it being summer helped. Still too chilly to keep open at night. If you're a non-smoker or an ex-smoker it may bother you as much as it did me, if you smoke, smoke away!

  Cheap, clean, well equiped - but smoker hotel

  A cheap hotel in Aomori. Not far from the city center. It's clean, the hotel personnels are nice and able to communicate in English. The equipment of rooms is above my expectations (taking into account the price) - there is a separate bathroom, a little fridge, hair dryer, kettle... Everything you might need. The only problem is that it's a smoker hotel, so it smells somewhat, but nothing dramatic - it really helps to open your window.

  Cheap and decent

  This hotel is cheap and the breakfast is good. This is about all there is to say about it. It's a 30 minute walk from Aomori Station. Most of the floors reek of cigarettes, but the rooms aren't that bad. Amenities are OK, as in all Japanese business hotels.

  Affordable for a short stay

  The hotel is affordable for our stay.However the location is quite far from nearest JR station,about 1.3km walk.The hotel cannot be seen from main road.Fortunately we asked nearest Tourist information before we start looking.The wifi connection was good.The hotel was cleaned and the staff there was friendly.I have not use the coin laundry service although they mentioned it was available.
