Good three star hotelStayed here for a week. The hotel is not large and is attractive. Its sited on a hill with views over the town. The pool area is pleasant and in September we had no trouble finding sunbeds. The town is the only large town on this side of the island and busses seemed rare. Unless you hire a car if you want to see more of Crete this may prove difficult. The room was well decorated, large and very clean, the view from our balcony was beautiful. The hotel is 10 minutes from the beach ( its not a particularly nice beach) and about 20 minutes walk from the town, its on a hill so easy going down! The hotel has international guests and the food reflects this, the breakfast and lunch were good but unless you ate early evening food could run out so choice was limited. The staff on reception and in the bar are exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Car hire was easy to arrange, it ranges in price depending on car type and days but averaged at 35 a day however it was over subscribed and we couldn't get a car every day, so book early. Drinks are standard all inclusive drinks. Not premium but ok. Evenings were very quiet, too quiet for us, but the hotel does say that this is their policy. if you spend most of your holidays sunbathing by the pool and like quiet nights this is the place for you, we slept incredibly well as it was so quiet !

Wonderful Break! We spent ten days at this excellent hotel and we would like to express our thanks to all the amazing staff who helped make our stay so memorable! With particular thanks to Irini ,Adeline and the manager Michaelis , who all gave us lots of help and support when we decided to adopt one of the hotels little cats! Our rooms were clean and of good size and very handy for the pool area! When we first arrived we were a little disappointed with our allocated rooms but the manager wasted no time in changing them for us! The food was of excellent quality and there was always plenty of choice! Hopefully we will be returning in the near future!

Lovely holidayEnjoyed our stay at this lovely welcoming hotel. We arrived late at night and were offered food and drink. Welcome bottle of rose in our room with fresh fruit. Food was good with a wide choice. Lots of good walking and swimming. Hotel manager attentive and took an interest in his guests. Sadly the hotel had to close early due to Thomas Cook folding. Moved to the nearby Almyra hotel which seemed luxurious but we've been bitten all over by mosquitoes and the food at the Almyra is not good. Pity it has spoiled what was in the main a fab holiday.

budget hotelThe room brought toilet paper only for the second day. Bar makes cocktails from ouza and rakee ?? / Staff is angry, food is not reported at all, although food is good. No management, do it yourself, manager - it's just a bubble soap .. The access is total through greenhouses and other bunkers. beach 1.5km and poor

IdealicThis must be the friendliest happiest hotel in southern Crete. Spotlessly clean, quiet and my at night when you've had a wonderful meal tasted the nights cocktails you get to your larger than average room go onto the huge balcony and watch the night sky in all its glory. I'm telling you that when its gets dark here IT GETS DARK. No sounds from guests walking the corridors its peaceful. The housekeeping staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble and do a brilliant job. Reception staff are only too willing to help with anything so so friendly. There is a small mini bus to take you to the beach 4 times a day. The hotel is on a hill if you elderly or infirm it's a tremendous help. The food is great. Fresh salads beautifully prepared and presented. Hot food is always hot as you want. Wait staff are super efficient. My husband and I couldn't fault this hotel. Oh wait other than to suggest some sort of awning over the huge balconies as to be able to sit out in the afternoon.
