  NEVER AGAIN !

  On their advertising outside, they have Standby Rates $95.00, RACQ Discount, Broadband & WIFI. When we checked in , surprise, surprise, all the Standby rooms are gone, price is #135.00 ! We were then offered a promotion room for $120.00. I asked for the WIFI details, and was told "It comes and goes so we don't bother about it". ......false advertising !!! The room was very small, no cutlery, plates, microwave, toaster, bottle openers, spare pillows in the cupboard. The tv was so small it was hard to see. The mini bar was 3 items short! Our advice would be to check the room, before you check in.

  Nice place to stay!

  Stayed here whilst in Bundaberg. Quite close to a local shopping centre, about a 15 minute walk. Plenty of eating options nearby. Motel room clean and we found it fairly quiet even though its by a busy road. Staff at motel very polite and helpful, free shuttle to and from the airport.

  Very dissapointing

  Where to begin. First of all there is no cable. They say there is, theres a box etc but all channels have turned off, no coffee just tea, no milk. The real kicker was being lectured deeply about smoking in the room upon arrival, even though they are totally aware of the fact we have a four month old baby. Its ok to say not to smoke and let us know of the fine if not followed but to give us a full five minute lecture is just offensive and un heard of. Then to be accused of smoking in the room when i checked out cause i had a cigarrette on the way to reception and i smelt like cigarette shows that these people have done this many times before and its pre determined on the mangements judgement upon arrival. I havent even left the room yet and ive been accused of smoking in it.

  One night

  On a road trip and decided to stop in Bundy , looked up online for a basic hotel to stay . Bert Hinkler has everything we needed. Clean comfortable and reasonable priced. Owner very friendly and wanted our stay to be enjoyable. If you want a basic , clean and comfortable place to stay , this is it .

  Without a doubt the worst ever

  I know my title leaves us with nowhere to go in the future but honestly steer clear of this place. We booked it as a family 2 day stay whilst touring Central Queensland. Upon arrival we were greeted by the worst smelling reception ever it was like it hadnt been cleaned in a long time. We asked for adjoining rooms and whilst we knew we would not get 5 star we did expect a clean room, showers and not to find someone elses underwear on the floor. Which you can see from the photos we didnt get, well we got the u diesThe accomodation is advertised as great for families with a pool and spa, honestly it was like a movie scene. Find another place in Bundy or drive the extra Ks and stay in Bargara. Will never stay there again ever will never recommend. There are too many bad photos just picked the worst.
