  too dirty

  Although we are not expect to see very clean bathroom & superb white bed sheer for this budget hotel but at least a clean bed to sleep at night, but dissapointed! I booked this hotel while I out for business trip in october and been told by friend this is a new hotel (Smart hotel-The strand, Kota Damansara) compare to the near by (Smart hotel-Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara), so I pop in at evening to check in after my work. At 1st glance room look fine, but not after I find out the super weak shower, half amount of water come out from shower pipe and some just dripping out from the water heater machine. Their so called Lcd / TV are not functioning like one, most channel are not clear & lots of noise. Last & most scary, when i want to sleep & open the blanket ,I saw many blood / brown stains, dust & sand on the bed sheet. I'm so tired and hopeless don't know what else I can do with it. I walk to the counter & request 2 new bedsheet from the cashier and I change my bed sheet in the middle of the night for a few hours of sleep. Nightmare and I would never stay here anymore. I notice Smart Hotel have many branches in KL & Selangor and the price is not expensive (RM90 for my room) but for this price with such service, you can anytime add little more money stay elsewhere with better facilities.

  worst hotel I have ever seen!!!

  I booked this budget hotel after seeing the pictures provided on the website. It turns out to be a complete nightmare! My husband and I booked a room with window for two nights. As soon as we got the key, we started to have bad feeling about the room... The key was kind of old style key which you don't even have to lock the door as people can break into your room easily! When we opened the door, the room had a very bad odour and it didn't go away even we have the window opened for a while. Obviously someone has been smoking in the room for a while. The pillow cover and the bedsheet were so wrinkle. It seems that someone has just slept on the bed before we checked in. The duvet cover was so aged and we could see the tiny balls pop up on the surface of the fabric. The worst thing was, when I removed the duvet cover, we saw two BIG YELLOW STAINS!!!! We have also been provided with one towel, which was dark brown and folded on the corner of our bed. It was very dirty and we could smell the semen! We didn't move our suitcase to the room as the room was too crowded and they did not have an elevator (even though they said yes on the advert!). The window was facing the street but the curtain was old and broken and we couldn't close it properly at all! The shower room... Don't even made me talk about it as it does not look different from any bad public toilet... Guess what.... ! At the end, we booked another hotel and completely wasted the two nights we have paid for this SMART hotel... !!! What a waste of money and bad experience!!!

  Not worth for a stay

  True, true true to all the comments that has been written for this hotel. Hotel is created from a shop lot. Bad service, dirty room, bed sheet not change, dirty pillow, worn towels, drainage smell room, bad TV reception which only 3 channels can be seen the rest is all snowy. Looks like the hotel is only good for couples stay for a short satisfaction. Location wise acceptable if you do have a car. Public transport is a far from your reach. Food is at the door step, walking distance to mall and other daily needs.

  Cheap Motel with great eateries around

  My family have been in this hotel for more than 3 times. So far, it is reasonably clean. The staffs clean the room everyday, and provide clean and fresh towels. Although the bed sheets are a bit stained, overall, it is ok. We stayed in a family room for 4. The plus point of this motel is that it is surrounded by great eateries. Convenient for food and car park. The downs of this motel: stained bedsheets, broken shower head holder and the mirror in the room is not hanged. The management should look into repairing the items and make sure these small things are looked into. With that done, I am sure this hotel is a fine stay.

  Not worth for a stay

  Poor sound prove system, you can listen all kind of voice which from out side the building even you are staying in the highest floor (3rd floor) in the condition of "closed windows". Bad qualities of bed and pillows provided. Bad services provided after request on changing a new bath towel and floor towel with providing an answer on checking without any action performed.
