  Very clean, pleasant staff, excellent value, would definitely recommend. We will stay again when traveling. Comfortable beds, quiet, good breakfast, helpful and pleasant staff. One of the best Hamptons!

  rating for stay at Hampton Inn in Clovis, NM

  This is the second visit at this Hotel and I was very impressed with services, staff, and amenities. We stayed two nights and all front staff were very pleasant, attentive to our needs/questions and professional with checking in/out process. Food and snacks were delicious. The "to go" snack bags are a fun and appreciated extra!!! Rooms were clean and beds/pillows were very comfortable.

  Check-in Rough; Stay was GOOD

  Snowing and raining, we decided to take a rest during out road trip and chose this property for price, breakfast, no smoking rooms and location. We arrived around 11pm. The hotel lights were on but no one behind the desk and the second set of automatic doors were locked. On the wall, I noticed a phone with a hand written message stating the phone was BROKEN and told us to call the desk at xxx-xxxx. NO area code and we were not from the area or the state! It was very cold, snowing and the outside double door sensor was stuck on open. I fumbled for my phone and the cell service was shoddy, trying to locate an area code. My husband came up and banged on the glass to the reception. A young girl opened the door. We explained the potential issue for travelers and she may want to add an area code to the hand written sign. She didnt seem to comprehend. I just checked in (NO asking of my car license plate, unlike in my previous review!). Sleep quality was good. Room was clean. Lots of towels. Tub drain plug was broken and had to use a wash rag to take a bath. The room heater did not work (mind you, its snowing outside) but we did not want to deal with the girl at the front desk again, so we chocked up the sleep quality to having a cold room! Breakfast was very good! Fresh made oatmeal (not packets). Staff super friendly. Not a bad experience, and had check-in gone a little better, this would certainly have been higher. Definitely not a bad place to stop for the price.

  Absolute Garbage

  Terrible property. In horrible condition - dirty and completely worn out. Im very upset that I used Hhonors points to stay in this dump. I cant think of a positive except the location was convenient. Warning: you will hear trains all night.

  Next to the railroad, but nice!

  Hotel is much older, but very clean and the staff was wonderful. When we arrived they warned us about the trains and informed us that their were ear plugs for us to use in the room. Strangely, you can't really hear the trains during the night, we had a great night, order pizza from the local place, which was wonderful and enjoyed our breakfast the next morning, good place to stop on your way thru Clovis.
