  Average. Nothing special.

  Blood spot on comforter. Toilet tank top balanced atop tankdifferent shapes. Dog barked at night next door. Breakfast good. Good location traveling through. Competitive room rate. Not worth seeking out when so many competitors around.

  Very fine

  This motel is typical in this chain. It was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was just fine and typical for this type of place. The rate was very good. The shower was perfect.

  I do not recall having stayed at a Clarion in the past, so did not know what to expect. Choice hotels are a wide variety from very good to very bad, but with this particular hotel (Clarion Farragut), I was pleasantly surprised and pleased, as I am very particular (especially with Customer Service and Cleanliness.) Both exceeded my expectations. Celeste, Evan and Irvi (sp?) at the Front Desk were always very kind, cleaning everything and handling whatever came up as soon as it came up. Maintenance was replacing old a/c units, and updating other areas of the hotel. Gay, the weekday breakfast Hostess, was very nice and kept everything blocked off to the guests ... until it closed due to Knox County ordinances. She always wore here mask and gloves and handed you whatever you wanted to eat. It was a limited menu (biscuits, yogurt, apples, juice ...) due to COVID-19. After that, the guest could pick up the same breakfast (except for the biscuits) at the front desk. Very nice considering some hotels aren't doing anything. I'm not a fan of so many exterior doors where guests and / or non-guests can enter (if the door is left propped open as many of the guests did) especially when some guests had no regard for other guests wherein they continually went in and out slamming the doors. Even with the notices on the door not to prop open the doors, the guests still did it. It would be nice to have a deeper privacy strip on the bottom of the door as conversations can be heard all the way down the hallway. The exterior of the hotels needs work, including the flower beds, but perhaps this is on the updating schedule. The only real issue were disrespectful guests who enjoyed slamming doors. If / when brought to the Front Desk's attention, it was handled. Try it, it's much nicer than the outside would appear. Perhaps exterior is being updated next.

  Good for the price

  We stayed in a 3rd floor room, apparently they were either remodeling the first floor or had a water issue because it was closed and had dehumidifiers and fans everywhere. The hallway had a weird smell as well (Indian food?) However, the room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Ample parking for our truck and trailer.

  No breakfast

  We stayed at several Choice hotels on our Fall vacation and this was the only hotel that didn't offer breakfast because of the Covid-19 issues. Other hotels had a buffet line and they would serve and pack up your breakfast for you to enjoy in your room. Also, the shower head is extremely low. Good for someone shorter than 5'5". Other than that, we have stayed here before and it was nice.
