  Nice hotel with problems and lack of management

  I stayed here on business for 4 days. This is a two-year-old hotel, very nice and clean, with easy access to Route 30. Upon arrival, the desk clerk was friendly, and check-in was efficient. After getting settled in the room, I realized that the air conditioner was leaking condensate water all over the rug. I reported this to the front desk girl, who said that they would chekiit tomorrow. Upon arriving the second night, I realized that the wet rug was more extensive, and the desk clerk didn't know anything about it. Third night, same thing only so bad that I had to wear shoes at all times. The fourth night was even worse, and upon arriving, we found a note under our doors advising us that due to a staffing issue our rooms were not cleaned. Bathroom lighting is insufficient, as they use outdated fluorescent bulbs instead of L.E.D.'s. We were never able to speak with a manager, and we are checking out tomorrow.

  Staffing Issue - 9/13/19

  The hotel is nice but we returned to our room on September 13, 2019 to find a note on our bed stating that the hotel experienced a staffing issue and that no cleaning or delivery of clean towels would be performed. I talked to the desk clerk and told her nicely that I didn't think we should pay full price for the one night where there was no service to our room. She summoned her manager who came out and stated "we're not giving you a free night stay". I told her that I never asked for a free night and restated that we did not receive the service that we paid for and that I felt that the rate should be reduced. She offered 50% off which I thought was acceptable but at this point, I was offended by her attitude towards my request and her downplay of the service issue on that date.

  Nice Place

  So, besides not being able to vape. (Smoking and vaping are NOT the same,,,) The Hotel clerk at check in was smokin hot and would purposely make this my go to hotel as passing from PHL to Indiana from now on. Wow eh wooooow! Oh, and great clean rooms! :)

  Nice place to stay

  We always stay here when we visit family in Galion. Rooms are nice and clean. All hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was above average. Our only complaint was that the bacon was limp and not crispy, like we prefer ours. Their bold coffee was great. We stayed three nights at this hotel. No complaints.

  Best hotel around for miles!

  Ive stayed here several times over the last few years. It is always clean, staff is always welcoming and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is surprisingly not noisy despite being close to the highway which is AWESOME! Parking is free, plentiful and well lit. COVID precautions are excellent, which helped me to feel safer, coming from a hard-hit epicenter. Rooms are not entered by staff for 48hrs after guest departure. Masks are worn by staff & hand sanitizer is readily available.
