  Very disappointing

  First they didn't have the king size bed we had reserved a MONTH IN ADVANCE. We received no apology for the mistake. Then we get up to the room and the clock had not been changed. Not a big deal but one a hotel with a rating of "very good" should have taken care of. Next I went in the bathroom to take a shower and there is a used, wet towel hanging in our bathroom. Gross. When the offending towel was retrieved there was again no apology given. The TV remote didn't work. The carpet was dingy. The paint was peeling by the shower from water damage. I gave the place a 2 because the breakfast was good.

  If You Like Fox 'News', You'll Love This Place

  I'm going to be honest here... the hotel and staff were nice, accommodating and professional, but we got the feeling that the people who reign over the staff were trying to shove their political views down our throats and guess what; I didn't come to the Sleep Inn & Suites to hear their views and further, their political views don't match ours and here we are the ones paying! We were there 3 nights and every time we turned the TV on the default station was Fox 'News'. Why would a news channel be the default? Wouldn't it be more professional, more accommodating, to have the channel menu or maybe a music channel by default? Nope; Fox 'News'. Want a cup of coffee... well come on down to the lounge where Fox 'News' is blaring their propaganda away. Want breakfast? Well enjoy it while Fox 'News' whines away in the background and while the guy with the NRA jacket on at the next table, empowered by the broadcast, loudly exclaims that what's wrong with the country is that the bible isn't 'in schools' anymore and that kids need to be spanked more, 'except the liberals', he said to us, (who by the way hadn't said a word about anything at all) would have them 'arrested for spankin' their own kids'. Brilliant. I guess we're not welcome here. I'm giving this hotel one star in the service and rooms categories, NOT because the staff was anything less than great, but because the people who control the hotel policies are not accommodation, and shove their political views down the throats of the people staying there. That's bad service and that makes the rooms uncomfortable.

  Disgustingly dirty, very loud heating/cooling

  If I could give it 0 stars I would. Showed up and room had semen stain on bed, floor was dirty. Heating unit was so loud I have no idea how people sleep through it. People were smoking in the hallway. Worst of all though is the management. I was originally told I'd be refunded since I left as soon as I saw the state of the hotel, after nearly two months of calling and wasting hours of my life trying to get my money back, they are denying my refund that was told I'd be receiving. Learn from my mistake and don't go near this place.

  Hotel is brand new

  This hotel is pretty good for the money! The building was recently built and everything is brand new. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to. Other reviews seem pretty nit-picky (2 stars because the TV goes to Fox News when it turns on???) but take it from me, this hotel is in a safe location and has clean rooms. What more do you want from a budget hotel?

  Trip to Mars!!!

  The room appeared well kept, but the shower pan looked stained. The air conditioner, though cool, had such a loud, high pitched squeal that I could imagine dogs howling! I asked to change rooms and was told they all sounded that way. I was shown another room and they were right, it was just as bad! Headed to Walgreens for ear plugs! Wont be staying here again.
