  Good customer service!

  I had booked a room at the hotel 6 months prior to arrival because it was in a close proximity to the airport. The price was exceptional for this type of hotel and the reviews were great, so I went with it. I got the reminder email 3 days ahead and upon arrival and check-in, I was asked if o was aware that there wasn't any hot water. Uhhh okay? No I was not. The clerk proceeded to tell me that someone was supposed to notify me and that there is no hot water, but if needed, I could have a bucket of warm water brought up to my room. I was then charged the full amount and sent to my room. I didn't think that is was fair, so I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. Expecting a huge run around (typical for Russia), I asked them to explain to me the reason why I was made to pay a full amount when I can't even take a shower. A few minutes later, the booking director came up to my room, very nicely apologized and offered 2 complementary breakfasts, valued at 400 roubles each, which worked for me. Overall, I have to say that I was impressed with their customer service, the rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms. I highly recommend this hotel, just check in ahead about the hot water :)

  Excellent option nearly on airport.

  Good hotel within easy walking distance from airport. Room and bed ok as well as good and free wifi reception. Experienced English speaking reception, who offered service with a smile. Free print service. Hotel has no opportunity to offer any form of transport to customers with heavy luggage.

  Affordable

  Very nice hotel by the airport at 500m distance, price is very cheap especially for twin room. Rooms are compact, clean and well furnished. Sfaff is pleasant, restaurant works for 24hrs. Recommended for short stays

  Quaint & Convenient, Close To Novosibirsk Airport

  The Skyport hotel is a short walk from the Novosibirsk airport terminal. It's a short walk if you have bags with good rollers that is. It somehow will seem like an eternal walk should you be hand carrying heavy bags :-) *Do note most of Russia's airports have very little or no baggage trolleys and Novosibirsk airport is no exception. Sykport hotel is outside the airport terminal upon arrival to your right. Should you need to ask directions, it might be hard to find anyone who speaks English. Just head right and keep walking. This hotel is very convenient for travellers, and has a cosy & quaint feel. The perfect hotel for the night if you are catching a early flight out. The rooms are of a reasonable size, well maintained and clean. Bathroom is compact but with new tiles and a clean feel. Double glazed windows keep the street noise out and the two bottles of complimentary drinking water is a nice touch. If there was some coffee and tea making facilities, that would have been excellent. The wall to wall carpet was clean and the room was good overall, but a tad neutral. It would be nice to see some paintings on the walls, just to give the room some point of focus. It did feel a little less warm and welcoming from the lack of it. The only real issue for complaint was the mattress which could do with a more comfy upgrade and thou we requested for a large bed it was odd as the quilt blanket provided was probably a double size at best, thus it failed to amply cover the bed or the two of us. That was the wierdest thing! Thankfully we found a extra quilt sans cover bundled up in the wardrobe which was useful. Breakfast was a good selection! Internet was not the best and required a Russian number for access. Suggest to purchase a mobile sim at the airport and not to rely on the hotel's internet. Staff were friendly and approachable. Overall above average but less the good! Perhaps if the above points were improved, I would rate this a four star stay.

  Only if you need to catch an early morning flight

  This rather expensive hotel has nothing special. It is quite expensive for what it offers: poorly decorated yet large rooms, a bad restaurant which serves a 1,000 Ruble fish plate still deep frozen, staff who surprisingly for an airport hotel don't speak English, and not even a shuttle service to the airport terminal which is 500m away, but too far to walk to if you have a lot of baggage. Unsurprisingly, the hotel is mostly used by cabin crew.
