  Ok for a overnight stay

  Stayed here as part of a tour. Staff were ok, very helpful as they let me hang my washing out back to dry which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good, didn't have lunch or dinner but my fellow travelers weren't impressed. Rooms were clean, had warm water and clean towels. Outside garden area was nice to sit in the sun and chill out. Wifi was ok. Overall, not bad for a night or two while passing through.

  Pleasant stay

  Hotel is located a bit outside main city and the taxi drivers always had problem to find it, rooms are decent, but there might be problem with hot water in the rooms. The wifi works fine in bedrooms. Spent few nights there.

  Music untill 2300 hrs, dirty stairway, toilet spills when flushing

  We stayed here to separate nights to and from Lake Bunyonyi. Both times the entrance hall and the stairway was dirty, the walls are stained. When we went to the room there were lounge chairs covered in stains so we had to ask for linen to cover them bc it was really disgusting. When showering the whole bathroom gets soaking wet. The toilet spilled water to the floor when flushing. At night they played music in the garden bar untill 11 p.m. very loud. During the night multiple taxi drivers showed up to pick up people and all honked their horns till someone would show up. Would not stay there again.

  Enjoy the hospitality!

  Choose a room on the back side of the hotel for a quieter stay. Not all rooms are equal. Ask for a firm bed and room with a balcony. WiFi worked best in the lobby. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Rooms were very basic but clean. Clothes washing service was reasonable. Only had breakfast at the restaurant, so can't comment on other meals. The property is small and no elevator to the 4th floor. Stayed here as part of our tour package with Nomad. Need a taxi, I have the name of a reliable driver.

  Better than average for East Africa

  This was a modern hotel at the edge of Kampala. We have travelled extensively in East Africa so we are getting to be pretty good judges of "African Clean". This was better than average. Electricity is sporadic in Uganda, but when it worked, everything in the room worked..a good sign. The strong point was the bar. Tiki like with cheap cold beer. Wifi only in the bar and it was sporadic due to the provider not the hotel. Top floor rooms might have nice views. We opted for a second floor room on the bar side of the hotel. That gave us internet! The very nice taped bar music ends about 10:00 so sleeping is no problem. The food here is poor at best but there are a couple of places within easy walking distance down the hill. We stayed here twice. I'd stay here again. PS: I rated it a 4. That's an African Four. That equals a two in the first world. T.I.A. (This is Africa!)
