  Very Clean and Tidy

  Small and well maintained guest house half a mile in a straight line to Burgundy Restaurant on the sea front. Lounge area with tv,double bedroom and a well appointed en suite with walk in shower and bath. Easy book in. Inviting pool with surrounding lawn and adjacent car parking. A secure place to stay and good value for money. Two issues however. First, the WiFi facility at the time of our stay was a disaster and needs sorting out. Second, a quiet afternoon by the pool is unlikely since the establishment is positioned, as the name implies, on the main road out of town towards Cape Town. It wont worry everyone but the price is very reasonable.

  Very nice guesthouse

  We had a great stay here. Very nice, big and clean rooms. The area was also very nice and relaxing. Great parking facilities. Within walking distance to center of Hermanus. I will definitely stay here again.

  A hidden gem

  Amazing hideaway. Most fantastic setting and ambiance with a very lovely host. Lots of fine little touches to make it an excellent stay - travel adaptor, well stocked fridge to name but a couple. The breakfast is not to be missed and served in a lovely setting too. We had watermelon and yogurt followed by a ham and cheese omelet wrapped in a very thin and delicate homemade pancake - totally set us up for the day. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the locality.

  Relaxed and friendly

  A wonderfully relaxed and friendly experience! The guesthouse is well appointed, has quality linen and is very clean. The management couple is engaging but not intrusive and breakfast were innovative and freshly prepared. A home away from home.

  Great value

  We stayed here for just one night as part of our Garden Route trip but we wished we had longer as we loved this guest house and Hermanus. Only a short walk to the centre of town, the area felt safe to us. The room had a lovely seating area separate to the bedroom bit and there were lots of nice touches. The whole place was really clean and comfortable. Most of all, for us, it was really great value for money. We arrived after 7pm and there was no one around to check us in but were sent instructions on how to get in and had no problems. On the day we were leaving the owners kindly let us have the room until the evening which meant we were able to leave our things and freshen up before we left. I would definitely recommend and hope I have the opportunity to stay again some time.
