Un paraisoTodo espectacular, la recepción, la atención en cada uno de los lugares, los espacios verdes, la decoración, etc. Realmente un lujo de lugar, el valor alto se justifica por el niver y la calidez de este lugar

What a great management! We stayed at the Six Senses for 5 nights with our 1-year old and we loved everything about it. The rooms were well heated (we even turned heating off as we werent used to it), many cool options to spend a day even if it rains. The staff was so well trained, almost everyone spoke English, we were offered some special treats for the baby at every meal. The managers are extremely friendly, offered us their we hats and helped to organize everything. Vanilla was our guide for two days, she was amazing and the hotel transportation was impressive! Thanks a lot. we will try to be back at a warmer season next time!

Great service and great experienceWe were stay in six senses at the end of September. My husband and I took our daughter with us on vacation. We stayed here for 2 nights. The resort was really beautiful. The air here was so fresh and I felt like I was in the natural oxygen bar. And the way to the front desk was planted so many bamboo. It was gorgeous. There are many restaurants to choose from. Thai food was very nice. But the service here is just soso. We booked the excursion to Wolong panda base. It was really great to see the cute and amazing pandas here. very quiet and there were few people. Special thanks to our guide, Miss Vanilla Tang, who can speak very good English and knows so much about pandas, and for bringing us to this nature reserve. In the afternoon, we also went to a local mountain, we met cattle and sheep along the way, the top of the mountain was particularly beautiful, along the way she also helped us buy a lot of local specialties, especially plums here, it was too yummy ! she also took care of us in the hotel, everything can be considered very thoughtful! Thanks a lot. And a tip for the hotel spa, they might be able to open a little earlier. But the experience is really great! I recommend you to come this Resort and super recommend you to choose guest experience team.

A lovely mountain retreatA pleasant stay at the six senses, mainly due to its great location at the foot of Mount Qingcheng and nearby panda enclosure, and us having a great butler in Mark. Very helpful and personable and nothing was too much trouble. The thoughtful picnic basket, wine and cake were appreciated and enjoyed very much. Had a great fun dinner at the hotpot hut with very attentive service. We love the layout of our two bedroom villa. Suitable for a family to spend time together and yet have some private space. But not impressed at all with the fittings in the room, especially the finicky shower system and the water power can be a lot stronger. The bathtub cannot retain the heat of the water for very long. And the towels provided have seen better days. Dont have anything to say about the generic toiletries. At this kind of rate, I expected amenities and fittings of a higher quality in the villa.

A mountain-side paradiseThe Six Senses is a stunning escape, situated at the foot of Mount Qing Cheng, and a 30 minute taxi ride from Dujiangyan town. We caught a train from Chengdu, an easy 40 minute journey, and were collected from Qing Cheng station by a very cheerful and enthusiastic butler named Mark, who ferried us in a luxurious Mercedes van to the resort, barely 5 minutes away. The entrance of the resort is discreet, to put it mildly. As it was explained to us by staff later, the intention is to preserve its exclusivity and privacy, and only registered guests or visitors with confirmed dining reservations are permitted to enter. The entire resort, comprising 2-storey earth-coloured, rustic buildings containing 155 suites and villas, were scattered over several acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. For those who not inclined to walk, electric buggies can be summoned to ferry guests to the assorted facilities of the resort, which comprise 7 dining outlets, function rooms, an organic farm, a free-standing Spa complex, and children's playground, complete with pony ride and bicycles for both the young and young at heart. Staff were consistently friendly and solicitous, and we particularly commended them for their hard work despite the cold and having to be exposed to the outdoors. My friends and I occupied a 2-bedroom villa, which offered ample space and privacy, being a free-standing dwelling with separate wings for the 2 bedrooms, facing a lushly-planted courtyard. The common areas included a living-cum-dining room with attached bathroom (which could even function as a 3rd bedroom), and an upstairs equivalent. Each bedroom had its own sitting area, writing desk and bathroom with indoor and outdoors showers, dispenser toiletries and ample under-floor and vented heating. A wicker picnic basket containing assorted beverages and snacks awaited. The design of the villas, as well as the smaller entry-level "courtyard suites", was in a rustic Chinese style, with tiled roofs and lion's head door handles. The attention to detail throughout every aspect of the resort's design was stunning. We ate several excellent meals, including breakfast at Farm 2 Fork restaurant (which serves produce grown at the resort's organic farm), the Zi Qi Yuan Chinese restaurant and Room Service. A cute little coin is given to guests upon check-in which can be redeemed for complimentary ice-cream, popcorn or chocolate at The Square, an open-air plaza with several shops and eateries facing the main lobby and restaurant complex. Sadly, we did not have time to try the Sala Thai restaurant with its Michelin-starred chef. One of the great advantages of staying at the Six Senses is its promixity to Qing Cheng Mountain - barely a 5 minute walk away. We spent almost an entire day hiking through its panoramic trails and exploring its many temples and scenic lookouts, while resisting the temptation to pay one of the many porters to carry us up the oft-steep stairs in their "hammocks". We slept very soundly - the Roman blinds provided a near total blackout experience, with very comfortable beds and the afore-mentioned under-floor heating making for a very cosy ambience. The Wi-fi seemed to be slower than usual, but with the number of attractions at both the resort and beyond, there really wasn't much need or time to spend on one's electronic device. Water pressure in the shower was strong and stable. We particularly admired the Six Senses principle of sustainability - for example, almost no plastic was in evidence, and Christmas decorations were made from recycled materials by staff. One weekend was far too short, and we are keen to return for a much longer stay, and unhesitatingly recommend so to everyone else.
