  A good quiet hotel

  A small hotel that is located in the rural part of Patong Island and away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. Good sized rooms with amenities. The owner and her staff were informative, friendly and very helpful. We will stay there again.

  Good value accommodation in a quiet but remote location.

  We stayed for six nights in this hotel and were pretty much happy with everything. It is in a quiet location (apart from the ongoing construction work on a new development next to the hotel) and you really do need some transport (we had a car) as it is fairly remote. However, if you do have transport then it is not far to the towns of Cherng Talay and Thalang, where we found markets and some fairly decent restaurants, nor to the nearest beach which is Laguna Beach. We also found it very convenient for exploring the northern areas of the island including some of the wonderful beaches there (our favourite was Nai Thon). The room we had in the hotel was spacious with its own small balcony and a large bathroom. We also had a large fridge, a kettle, as well as a sink and we were provided with crockery and cutlery in case we wanted to eat our own food there. A cooked breakfast was brought to us every morning in our room. As for the hotel facilities, there was a very small swimming pool (but with no lounging area and it was not really outside either) and a gym but we did not use either of these. Although the staff seemed pleasant and were always smiling they spoke virtually no English so it was difficult to communicate (but this was a problem we had in a lot of places in Thailand). The hotel was definitely good value for money but the location might not suit everyone.

  Spacious room!

  I stayed for 3 days 2 nights here and the room was really spacious! 1 king bed size but it can accommodate for 3-4 people. The room with balcony view was really huge. The breakfast also good, toast bread, rice, milk / tea / coffee. the staff were friendly, oh I really have no complaint!

  Lovely stay but need transport!

  These are lovely apartments but are quite far from the nearest town and beaches so you really need some transport. However the hotel will arrange for car or scooter hire. We rented a scooter for our full week stay and it was very cheap. With a scooter it was only 10 minutes to Bang Tao beach which we thought was the best on the island! I have only knocked this down from 4 stars because we arranged for the reception to book us a taxi at 4am to get to the airport and it never came so I assume this had not been booked. As there are no staff on through the night it was very stressful to sort out but the security guard was brilliant and arranged another taxi. All in all our stay was very pleasant - the apartments are very spacious with a decent bathroom and balcony. You also get a good sized fridge and sink with some plates and cutlery - not really enough to cook properly though. The housekeeping staff were excellent and the room was cleaned very well every day. There is also a small gym which is air conditioned but not too well equipped - just enough for a quick workout. If you are happy to rent a moped and stay out of town I would recommend these apartments.

  Great value

  Very functional, no nonsense. Clean rooms and beds, great WiFi and showers. For a simple business place to stay works very well. Breakfast is weak so go to Cafe Waya up the road but the staff from security to the reception team are very friendly.
