  Short but amazing holiday!

  I spent two nights with partner and family and my mind was totally blown away by the rich and pleasant environment in which I was diving. Beautiful rooms, elegant and intimate pool that faces the whole valley and a breathtaking landscape. Staff was more than friendly. In short, a perfect vacation.

  Friendly and excellent location hotel

  While in Merano, it was warm and we enjoyed walking to town through via Giuseppe Verdi in the shade of its trees. The hotel is quiet as Giuseppe Verdi is a one-direction street and has a nice outside pool.

  Clean & friendly service

  We stopped at Merano for one night and found this lovely hotel. Not fancy as the hotels in the big cities but the location is great and we highly recommend. Rooms are clean and comfort, 2 pools are available (indoor &out door), free parking garage & very nice breakfast.

  Loved the 1 bedroom Apartment - Highly Recommend it

  My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks, in a 1 bedroom apartment, on the first floor and loved it. We will definitely be staying here again. It was perfect for us. We loved the location. 10 minute walk to town center. Quiet, neighborhood type feel to the area. Lots of lovely trees, views, the vineyards behind the apartment, the mountains. EuroSpar a convenient 7 minute walk away for food shopping. Bus stop to Lagundo a 5 minute walk away and the train station about 7 minutes. The apartment was super clean and very new. It was serviced every day which we have never seen before new towels, sheets, garbage taken away, floors cleaned. Loved the rain shower in the bathroom, underground parking, free bathrobes, only 6 apartments in the building, the large balcony off the living and bedroom area, with the sun loungers, small table and chairs. Washing machine and dryer available - full size, no coins needed, detergent provided, just let them know you used it and they charge 5E a load. Very convenient. Free WiFi though it was a bit slow. Though there is no a/c, the apartment was climate controlled and the electronic shutters kept everything cool enough for most people. We asked for a fan and one was provided. The apartment was stocked with a few basics which was nice - small shower gels and toilet paper in the bathroom. In the kitchen - sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar. The refrigerator had some supplies youd have to pay for and would typically find in a hotel mini bar - beer, wine, pretzels, candy. Replenished daily if you used anything. One of the things we loved the most was having the apartment associated with the Sittnerhof hotel. We had everything we needed in our apartment but with the added bonus of all of the conveniences of a hotel. The hotel had a nice crowd (older) who would in the evening sit out on the patio and outdoor dining area where you could sit and have a glass of wine. I recommend you try their Chardonnayit was delicious! Free use of the hotel pool, though we didnt go in it because the water was a bit cold. Roof top garden was nice with pretty views. We didnt spend much time in the Spa area which seemed quiet. We did have a 30 minute massage which was very good. Although we kept forgetting to use them, the hotel offered free bikes as well. We borrowed an umbrella and hiking poles from the hotel which was also convenient. Whenever we asked for advice on how to get places, where to go each request dealt with and answered quickly and professionally and friendly manner. We highly recommend these apartments and can't wait to go back.

  A Wonderful Place!

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sittnerhoff in July of 2015 and look forward to our return. The room was fantastic and had a large deck with an incredible view. We were there during a hot spell and the room didn't have air conditioning, but that won't keep us from returning. We ate in the Hotel dining room each morning and night and were always delighted by the food served by the warm and friendly staff. Location-wise, it's only a short walk to town which is great too.
