  Could have been perfect but ?

  I will not restate all the details left by other reviewers they have done a great job, as an adult only location this is lovely, both the premises and convenient location and the staff are outstanding , genuinely friendly especially as we holidayed in Late September 2019 toward the end of what had been a very busy and tiring season for them i personally thanked the Manager for their efforts. Some have commented the wi-fi was not good , i can only say we were in room 141 in the Garden suites away from the Hotel and it was fine, a series of repeaters are installed in the fence line and i was getting 4 bars on phone , Tablet and Laptop , and streamed You Tube with no problem. Around the pool, care is needed as there are other routers and your device can get confused so depending where you are located select the strongest signal and tell your device to forget the others. PS i am not an IT geek just your average silver surfer hope this helps you if you stay anytime. My only negative that reduced this from a 5* to a 4* was that the web images are outdated, the Hotel is no longer remote and has a LARGE utilitarian complex the " Caretta " built next door , i have included a google earth image that i have annotated the caretta now has an L shaped main blocks and two/Three further blocks since the google earth image was shot . This means in our Garden ground floor apartment , like it or not we got the dominant sounds of the Caretta Entertainment till after Midnight, Closing windows made negligible difference, maybe its quieter in other parts of the Sirocco but in our location you could kiss goodbye to an early night but you are on holiday so you live with it. Would i go again? , YES but i might consider carefully my rooms location and i hope that up to date aerial images will be published to show that the Sirocco is no longer the quiet location totally surrounded by fields it once was , as it is not.

  Nice hotel

  Stayed here with my friend had deluxe room on ground floor very end. Was a lovely room very bright big enough for two lovely shower and bathroom. Hotel is nice staff friendly and pool lively a and quiet the pool is very deep which is allowed as no children lively area

  Food and drinks

  Very nice food and reasonably priced! friendly staff aswell Stavros top bloke, great service and worth a visit. Right near the Laganas strip so ideal for a meal before going out on the strip. Reccomend the New York burger

  Tranquil, clean, very well managed hotel

  This was our third trip to Zakynthos and our second stay at this hotel, the last was three years ago. We chose it because it was quiet (adults only) and we could go half-board and hence reduce the eating out and the hazards of social distancing. We requested the annex and even though a previous review pointed out the noise last year from the new Careta complex adjacement, we didn't notice this. In any event everything closed down by midnight. The room was clean, aircon additional but necessary. Cleaning limited to twice a week but that proved enough and you could request additional clean. The safety box in the room is definited improvement on the previous system of a letterbox-size locker in reception. The TV is mostly Greek, German and French channels: no complaints there as we understand them all (though really who goes to Greece to watch TV?). Buffet food and meals were fresh and acceptable, especially the salads, though the desserts were rather bland. There was a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian options. You soon got used to wearing masks in the serving area and requesting what you wanted. We spent only two stints by the pool but there was never a problem with getting a sunbed. The layout of the grounds is delightful and many people simply chilled out of an evening. What a contrast to the living hell that is Laganas down the road! We went there one evening just to remind ourselves what we were missing, and frankly the lack of social distancing was alarming. Small wonder the people here are bringing back Covid with their 'corona parties' in the bars and beaches. Avoid the place if you value your health. The Sirocco staff were as helpful and friendly as we remember from last time.

  Perfect place to relax

  We visited The Sirocco Hotel early August on the first TUI flight from Glasgow,due to Covid19.Everything about this small family run hotel was wonderful for a quiet week of sunny relaxation. Our room was spacious and Junior Suite is recommended as it had air con and a safe. Lovely balcony where we could watch the sunset. Really clean and tasteful accommodation, great pool for swimming and lots of sun loungers. Good proximity to upstairs Iguana bar for cocktails and a choice of restaurants within a 10 min walk.Close to the beach also, about a 5-10 min walk. Friendly staff, especially Dennis and Elizabeth. Covid measures were in place at breakfast etc. and we felt very safe here. We would highly recommend this location for a relaxing break in the sun, in a lovely clean environment. Would be happy to make a return visit. Thank you for making our stay great!
