When a 4 not a 4Visited this hotel and at first impression found it to be no where near a 4 star hotel. The hotel is a retro 80's hotel. It lacks style and comfort and in need of a refurbishment. On arrival is after 21.00hrs restaurrant is closed told you will get a food platter sent to your room ,well it arrived with two half sandwiches of cheese and ham with fruit selection not the ideal after full travel day and initial room given too you is looking onto a car park even though asked for ground floor. There were few exceptions to the the feeling namely this was Anastasia, Restaurant Manager and staff therein who assisted me well. As too entertainment totally lacking throughout and nothing but old music mainly. The beach is across the road from the Hotel and there you pay for everything this alone is not and offering of a 4star hotel. Wi-fi is not free during your stay and additional end charges watch out for. Not a hotel again for me so choose carefully as I listened to many complaints from guests about this hotel.

Nice located 3* Hotel to enjoy the Delights of Rhodes Town & Ixia/IllisosDecided to pay for "All Inclusive", instead of my usual self cater/room only basis. Very good rate (love Hols0 encouraged me to do this. Yes, as other reviews say, its about a 3 Star rating, with bedrooms, food & drink to match. In there strange covid times, the hotel took things seriously, with temp checks on arrival, & cleaning staff continually, throught day & night, keeping the hotel spick n' span. Ok, the noisy road in a nuisance to everyone in IXIA, with its high speeding traffic & motorbike noise thru the sleeping hours. I was given an excellent (large room) 119, by the pool, with a terrace, monster bathroom, air con & comfortable bed (s). Worthy of a higher rated establishment. The thing that swayed it for me were the staff, Namely the receptionist, ANASTASIA...with her natural ability, to treat every situation with calm & dignity.....eg regular rants from customers, of all nationality, on their so-called problems !!!!! She should be a United Nations ambassodor. ! Also the dining room manager : "Sam" & head Barman, Dimitris, were a credit to their professiains. Also too, Evening receptionist, PETER, showed why he has 25 years of hotel expertise, in helping with every request, thrown at him. WELL PLAYED EVERYIONE. I say, if you want the "RITZ"....then stay in one of the (nearby) IXIA, Five-star, posh hotel, and splash your CASH.....& don't knock the SIRENE !........... It does its best , for the price.......

Relaxing short breakjust returned from a 3 night short break with my husband. Arrived at 2pm and was quickly checked in, temperature checks and location forms completed and invited to go and have lunch before going upto our room. ALl information on meal times found on website and menu lists for each day clearly visible outside restaurant. Each restaurant dish clearly labelled with type of meat content fabulous for those of us with food allergies and if unsure staff more than happy to let you know what each dish contains. Amazing amount of outdoor space around the hotel including main restaurant and pool area and always able to find sunbeds or seating. Bar staff so lovely and we can recommend trying the pool bar snacks ( the nicest warm sweet and savoury pastries mmmmm). Cleaning staff always busy keeping all the hotel areas spotlessly clean, all staff friendly and cheerful and always make time to say good morning. Hotel location is one of the best we have experienced in Rhodes, views amazing and within walking distance of Rhodes old town ( 35 minute walk along beautiful coastal walkway) and access to public transport a short distance from front of hotel. All in all a fabulous relaxing short break, amazing hotel we can't recom.end enough! Thank you so much Sirene beach hotel for a fabulous stay we hope to return again soon.

Fair play to the staff. We stayed at the Sirene from 10-20 October 2020, on arriving temperature was taken and then checked in very quickly. We found the night manager to be very nice, and we went to our room, we had a couple of issues with the room but it was late so settled down to sleep. The next morning my partner went to reception and very politely asked if it was possible to change rooms, the receptionist was called Anastasia and she was very understanding to the issue we had and very kindly said she would change our room. She said it would be a couple of hours or so to organise it. We were very grateful to her for understanding of our issue. After a couple of hours she informed us after speaking with her manager that they decided to upgrade us to a much better room with a sea view!! Now we hadn't asked nor expected an upgrade we just wanted to change rooms, so this came as a surprise. A very welcome one we were put in room 408 top floor the view was amazing. We thanked the Manager very much for his kindness and understanding, unfortunately his name escapes me. In fact all the hotel and cleaning staff were very friendly and a credit to this hotel. The food was of a good standard however the desserts lacking variety and choice. But it was a couple of weeks before closing and the hotel was around only half full. In the evening the entertainment was minimal, the pool area was great and the pool bar staff were so friendly we never saw them without a smile on their faces. Be mindful though this has a prominently German and Scandinavian clientele, however dont let this put you off. All in all we had a great stay. So if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday then give the Sirene hotel a chance you'll be surprised by the welcome you receive.
