Great location and priceWe booked this hotel expecting very little for the price we paid. It was such a great surprise! We had travelled to Nha Trang by train so arrived in the early morning. They allowed us access to our room early and we were upgraded to a Seaview room. The breakfast was good, with eggs and crepes cooked as you waited. We only stayed 2 nights but we now wish we had stayed longer. The staff have limited English, but we had no issues with being understood. We left early to catch the train again and they even gave us a take away breakfast for our trip. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found a great little Russian Restaurant nearby that had great cheap food and beer.

Was okThis hotel was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. We hired bikes off them at good rates. Only real issue with this hotel was the other hotel guests, they were quite rude and ignorant but at no fault of the hotel itself. Breakfast had a good selection and our room had a balcony (which wasn't big enough to sit on but hey ho) and a good view of the beach. There was development going on very close by and hot water was also an issue.

Noisy, dirty: the stuff of nightmaresThis hotel makes Fawlty Towers look like the Ritz. We booked online three weeks before our arrival, and received a friendly acknowledgement from the hotel, stating that they would match our request for a quiet twin room. On arrival we were shown to a room with a double bed directly opposite the noisy construction of a new hotel two meters from our window. We requested a room change and were taken to a second room with twin beds located under an Exit sign. Again the construction noise was loud and the floor was covered in dust. The balcony door was open, and we had difficulty closing it. Actually it was not a balcony at all. The room had been illegally constructed around an exit to the fire stairs. Imagine our surprise and fear when three tough looking men opened our door with a master key. I shut the door and called reception, who claimed that the men were window cleaners. The men were carrying tools including a drill, so this was clearly untrue. The next antic was that the window cleaners climbed over the balcony from the adjacent room and onto the fire stairs outside our room. At this point I called reception again and told them we needed a secure and quiet room. They agreed to show us one, but meanwhile we had another intrusion, this time from cleaners also with a master key. They did not knock before entry. Next I was taken to a quieter room at the back of the hotel with a receptionist. The room was already occupied! We were ready to demand a refund at this point. I pointed out to the reception staff that they had not matched our requests at all and that we felt unsafe in the hotel because security was so poor and the noise so loud. They claimed that the construction had only started after our booking. Another lie, since the hotel next door had clearly been under construction for months. In addition the Siren Flower was also being renovated! Finally they showed us to the room which I have photographed here; dusty, mouldy bathroom with a floor which flooded, bed bug blood spots. Because we were emotionally exhausted by the ordeal we stayed. Beds were quite comfortable but the aircon rattled all night. Breakfast was (predictably) pre-prepared cold, greasy omelette and other cheap ingredients. We opted to eat elsewhere and left as soon as possible. I advise travelers to avoid this place in an alley with construction workers staring rudely and surly staff except for the lady receptionist in the morning. She was pleasant and helpful.

DeceptiveWhen I called here, asked if there was parking? The reception has parking, so I booked 3 nights, when I arrived, the hotel is behind the building is built, no parking space, and only compensate for 50%, deceptive behavior

EarplugsWe booked at the Siren Flower hotel for 4 days. The hotel is in a really great location, a bit of a back alley but really easy to get to the beach. The room was clean and the view decent. Most of the staff had good English and where really friendly and helpful. The biggest downside to the hotel is the noise! It is absolutely staggering. There is zero dampening in the hotel to ease with the noise so if you're a heavy sleeper, this is the perfect hotel. If you're a light sleeper, there's no chance of sleep. All in all, a pretty worthwhile place to stay.
