  Great place only 20 min outside Sölden

  This place was fantastic. Family owned and well maintained. The room was massive, you got your own balcony that you could walk around on. The restaurant was fantastic. Had breakfast and dinner which were both lovely. I went snowboarding in Sölden but the places are too expensive for what you get. This place was awesome if you have a car and don't mind driving just a bit out of the way. Wifi was a little spotty in the hotel, but worked most of the time. The sauna and spa in the Basement was also very nice. I would stay here again, hands down.

  Fantastic

  We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 2 nights in July. The location is stunning, nestled high in the mountains. Parking is not a problem but they have a garage if preferred. The hotel is family run and very homely indeed. Breakfast was good and the bar was cozy. A great play area near by for the children and the chair lift up the mountain is fantastic. Thank you and we would stay again

  Perfect location

  We spent a couple nights here. We had visited the little town several times before, but wanted to do some longer hikes and by staying there, we did not have to spend the time in traveling. They had a nice ground floor entry for leaving your hiking boots (ski boots in winter) and then you could take the lift to the room's floor. Breakfast was quite extensive and the dinners were excellent. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The room had a view of the upper valley, but probably all the rooms had mountain views. We were glad to have stayed there

  To relax

  Nice hotel with very nice staff and owners,good breakfast, nice dinner and wines, beautiful spa, very clean hotel, we went there to relax and we did, Vent is a small town , but everything you need is there, So thank you for the great holliday

  Four stars truly deserved

  The hotel has a new, great spa. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay at Similaun greatly. Its obvious the owners are born in the village and have a strong bond with the valley and the mountains. Perfect base for walks, climbs, treks in a quiet location, literally next to the woods. I would definitely return. A big compliment tonthe Gstrein family, well done!
