Beautiful landscape and great serviceI have been in Turkey with my family for a couple of years now, but we really enjoyed this place because of the nature and the well organized space. It was wonderful to walk around the well kept gardens and the beach was not crowded . The food choice is excellent, and there are bars everywhere. The service was very efficient - one evening there were some guests who were very noisy late after midnight and I informed the reception who took care of it.

Awesome value, great kids club!Suberp prices, delicious food, great kids club. I especially can't talk enough about the kids club, they even have a small fun fair, a kind of lunapark there, I mean besides the water park. Senem, Zeynep, Alona, Alsu and Camilla, they all did fabulous job. Very extensive selection of sea amusement, very good management, including music selection and right volume.

AmazingSimena was perfect. It had everything, from fantastic food too great drink choices, that where thoroughly enjoyed at the pool bar that was actually in the pool. The great animation and lush sea with a floating assault course was enough to keep you happy. But then you had great pool, slides, loads of rides and tones of activities. The alacart restaurants where also great. I went to the fish restaurant and it delightful. The rooms where always kept in very good condition, and had air conditioning to Let you sleep peacefully. Thanks Simena for the great holiday, wish to return soon.

Overall Good TripPros Beach The beach is large and clean. There are plenty of loungers, but it can still be hard to find ones not reserved after 08:00. Pier and swimming area The pier is large and interesting. The platforms and attractions in the water are a really great addition too. Clear sea While we love sandy beaches, the pebble beach helped keep the water clear. There was a surprisingly large number of various fish in the area too. Careful though the little ones near the shore bite! Service (overall) With a few exceptions, the service level was impressive. It wasnt luxury-level service, but on the whole it was better than Ive experienced at other similar resorts in Turkey. In particular, several of the barmen were really good guys (particularly Fatih, Nurbek, Kenan, and Omer). The reception (especially Kadir) and guest relations staff (especially Zheniya) were also pleasant and helpful. Food selection and quality The meals are a bit repetitive when staying for more than a week, but the food was tasty and seemed to be of good quality. The cleanliness of the food areas, dishes, glasses, and silverware could be better, but much of it was due to inconsiderate and ignorant guests rather than the hotels failure. This is common at such resorts. Availability and choice of dining and snacks There was always food available somewhere! Unlike some resorts, snacks seemed to be all day - even ice cream. Wide variety of alcoholic drinks The selection was wide. I was also surprised that some of the standard alcohols were not unheard of local brands. For example, the whiskey included in the all-inclusive was a choice of Johnny Walker Red Label or J&B. The Irish Cream was Baileys. The wines were local and not very good in my opinion. Attractive territory The hotels grounds are well-maintained and attractive. Location It isnt so far from the airport that you wish youd had chosen something closer. I didnt time it, but I think it was close to 1.5 hours by mini-bus. Cons Room The rooms are small blocks of rooms spread out. That is very nice. However, they are dated. They could really use an upgrade. We had a standard room for 2 adults and 1 child. It was enough for our purposes (we basically only showered and slept there), but it was tight. Hot water for our entire first week we thought that the hotel just couldnt handle peak times when everyone showers after the beach before dinner (roughly 17:00-20:00). Our showers were not ice cold, but certainly not warm. Then after a week they became downright cold. I called reception and was told that the whole resort was having a problem. For two days we had no hot water at all. It would have been nice to receive a note under the door informing guests of the issue and apologizing for it. However, I only found out by calling reception. Two days in a row I was told it would be fixed soon. After two days though it was fixed. We then found that it wasnt a peak-time hot water shortage we had been experiencing form the start, but rather that at least our room had a problem from the start of our trip. We had hot water all the time after that. So we went over a week with little to no hot water. It was disappointing and we received no compensation or even apology for this. Smoking The smoking section to the main restaurant is right outside the entrance. There were usually people standing there smoking and we had to walk through their exhaust when entering the restaurant. This really needs to be addressed. Worse is smoking at the pools and beach. Even at the kids pool with the water slides smoking was allowed. It was disgusting to use the water slides with my child only to smell smoke when in the water. As for the beach, this is a problem not just at this resort unfortunately. There are no restrictions. The wind typically blows from the sea to the land (while it blows side shore too there is almost always some angle from the sea to the land). Smoking should therefore be prohibited in all but the back row of loungers. When on holiday at the sea we want to enjoy clean, fresh sea air. The last thing we want is the constant stench of smoke. Entertainment The animation team was ok, but weve experienced far better teams at other hotels. With some exceptions, they simply lacked the personality, likeability, creativity, and chemistry of other resorts weve stayed at. Our child didnt use the kids club, but we did interact some with the staff from it. They seemed to be good. Bar Rules There is an all-inclusive list of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Our very first order on our first day was for one of the alcoholic cocktails, but without the alcohol (vodka). The bar man refused to make it. Knowing this was going to be an issue for us since one of us doesnt drink alcohol, we went to guest relations. We were assured that we could have any cocktail on the list without the alcohol. They called the F&B Manager and asked him to remind the staff that they should not deny such requests. For the most part this wasnt a problem after that. A few times the bar men complained, but did it. Then on our last day one female bartender flat our refused. She was very rude about it too. She called a bar manager, who came to us. He insisted they could not make a cocktail on the list without the alcohol. When I asked if they would make a mojito, which was an alcoholic cocktail on the list, he said yes. I asked the difference then between a mojito and some of the others cocktails that also had just one alcoholic ingredient. He insisted that a mojito was somehow different and that they would not make any others without alcohol. The incident was escalated and they called guest relations. It was silly of them, as guest relations confirmed that they needed to do what we asked. The staff gave angry looks and spoke in Turkish (presumably badly about us) as they reluctantly made the drink. We got what we wanted, but it took 20 minutes of very unpleasant bickering. Later that day one of the good bar men, not knowing that we had an incident earlier in the day, told us they had a meeting and all were instructed not to make any alcoholic cocktails from the list without alcohol, with the exception of mojitos for some inexplicable reason. But he advised us that they have to make us whatever we wanted as long as the ingredients were not premium alcoholsIF we ordered it differently. For example, they were forbidden from making a Tropical Cooler with no alcohol. But they were obliged to make a tonic water with mango syrup, orange zest, and fruit. It is simply stupid. Every bartender knows exactly what is in each cocktail by name. It is easier for everyone, including themselves, to make the drink by name without alcohol than it is to make people order a special drink by naming the ingredients they want in it. The whole thing was ridiculous and extremely disappointing. Also, the beach and pier bars didnt do cocktails, which was disappointing. Housekeeping I realize that this is a hard job that doesnt pay all that well. Therefore, I respect the service and the people that do it. Unfortunately our housekeeper wasnt the best though. She wasnt friendly at all, but thats ok I understand. What was disappointing was that the room was never really cleaned. I dont think the floor was even swept during out stay. One day, with the Do Not Disturb sign displayed, she came in anyway. She handed us fresh towels, emptied the trash in the bin next to the door, and left. We thought she would come back later, but she never did. The beds were not made, the dirty towels not removed, bathroom trash not emptied, and mini bar not restocked. It certainly didnt spoil the trip in anyway, but it was still not right. Language If you dont speak Turkish or Russian, it could be hard to communicate at times.
