  El paraíso llegó a la tierra

  Un sueño! Simbavati Hilltop es un lugar al que todos deberían ir al menos una vez en la vida. Instalaciones de primera con la mejor vista al río donde ves hipopótamos todo el tiempo, piscina deliciosa, las habitaciones son un lujo, hay una cama en la terraza q es lo máximo, la tina del baño, la ducha exterior, las sábanas calientes, la atención de todo el staff, la comida, los safaris (vimos 4 de los 5 big 5, nos faltó el león y vimos muchos más como jirafas, impalas, wilddogs, etc. Simplemente perfecto!!!! Vayan!!!! Demasiado recomendado!!!!

  Wonderful stay!

  We spent 1 night at Simbavati River Lodge and 1 night at Simbavati Hilltop Lodge due to their current specials. It's still a splurge for South Africans even at the special rate. The setting of Hilltop is incredible overlooking a dam, we saw elephants and giraffes and a few others drinking. The tents were very unique with great views, as well as a day bed for enjoying the views! The outdoor shower was lovely! The bathroom even has a view of the dam! Food was very nice! Loved the cheese board! Alcohol very cheap. Staff are incredible. Fantastic service! Our guide Shaddy and the tracker Evans were wonderful and so enthusiastic! Only downsides: please don't expect an abundance of wildlife in Timbavati, we did see a leopard one day, but besides that we went for 30 minutes at a time on the game drives not even seeing an antelope. Lounge areas could do with a revamp, old and worn furniture. Some maintenance could be done in the tents - lots of stains on the day beds curtains. You just expect perfection for the price. Overall a great stay!

  Beautiful camp

  A very modern and beautiful bush camp, on a hill overlooking a dam. The rooms were superb with fabulous outside showers and outside daybeds and wonderfully appointed bathrooms. The only weird thing was the height of the bed in the room, which was over a metre off the floor and we had to jump to get on and off it and we're of average height. We had quite a few giggles over this. Staff was excellent. Guide Frank and tracker Evans were great and we had some superb sightings thanks to them. Food the first night was a huge disappointment, especially as I'd read such great reviews about it, but it did improve over the next few days.

  Amazing holiday and engagement!

  We had a lovely stay at Simbavati Hilltop Lodge. The hospitality from every single employer was out of this world. They even went above and beyond in making our engagement a most memorable one! Everything from the food, to the private villa, the infinity pool, the boma dinners at night and the exciting game drives will stay with us for a very long time indeed. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

  Simbavati Hilltop Lodge

  From the moment we arrived we where treated like VVIP. While we filled in the covid forms, sipping on lemonade, our luggage was taken to our luxury tent. The accommodation was beautiful with everything thing we needed. The bed was bit high, but luckily there was a foot stool which solved my problem...was quite funny. Don't even think about a diet.. had lunch as soon as we arrived, high tea before afternoon game drive, sunset drinks and snacks. A special dinner for our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Wake up call was at 5 so that we could go on our sunrise drive. Stopped for coffee and rusks and then we had a wonderful brunch. Chilled on our day bed before and after lunch. We saw the big 5 on our first 2 game drives. Colbert our guide and Derrick our tracker was awesome. Even saw a pack of wild dogs. Bongi was excellent. Checked on us everytime she saw us. We even received a bag with goodies for the road when we left. Will definitely recommend a visit.
