  Simple pero agradable

  El hotel Silva Spa de Fiuggi es agradable. Las habitaciones son simples pero tienen lo necesario, las instalaciones son agradables, con un pequeño pero buen gimnasio y un SPA excelente, y el desayuno en el invernadero de la terraza es completo, delicioso y en un lugar absolutamente ideal.

  El hotel es grande y en muy buena posicion pero, para la categoria que se supone deberia tener, hay muchos detalles que fallan. La habitacion era grande y comoda pero la limpieza no era de las mejores tanto en el pasillo como en la habitacion misma y el desague de la ducha no funcionaba muy bien. El spa bonito pero insuficiente para la cantidad de gente que estabamos y hacia bastante frio. Los mansajes estuvieron muy bien y todo el personal del hotel agradable. Muy bueno el desayuno.

  Great value

  Spent 3 nights with myself and my wife plus our adult son. We were in Italy for the primary reason being to ride the GranFondo Campagnolo Roma 2019 (my son & I were riding). Booked for 3 nights at the Silva prior to the event with the purpose of having some recovery time from flights etc and assembling and checking bikes. We had already booked accommodation in Rome so didn't take the GranFondo package offered by the Hotel. So review in parts: 1. The hotel and facilities definitely allowed us time to recover from long haul flights. The spa, heated pool and facilities were all immaculate and allowed for afternoon relaxation. 2. Food was good and plentiful especially as part of the cycling package. Buffet breakfast, cycling package to take on our rides (fruit, roll, biscuit), 3 course lunch on return and evening dinner. Plus included wine and water. The restaurant staff were also some of,the most pleasant people we met during our visit to Italy 3. Cycling was excellent. Adriano, the cycling manager lead us on 2 guided rides, and structured those rides to absolutely meet our requirements to taper our training prior to the GranFondo. My son and I had both bought our own bikes which we were able to leave in the secure cycling store and workshop and also had access to the workshops or assembling and bike set up. My wife used a hire bike available from the hotel, and opted for an ebike (a first experience) giving the hilly terrain. The quality of the hire bikes is excellent and includes Bianchi and Pinarello bikes and I would recommend considering hiring rather than transporting your own bike (although check what gearing you want for some of the climbs). In summary highly recommended, good hotel with fantastic staff in all parts of the hotel functions and especially Adriano the Cycling Manager. There are an amazing choice of cycling routes that could fill up a full weeks stay at the hotel. Just an aside, nothing to do with the hotel but The GranFondo was something of a shambles. On the Friday before the event the organizers announced that they didn't have the required permits so shortened the ride from 120km to 58km!. We would have been better of staying a the Silva for the extra time. Personally I would advise against traveling to take part in the GranFondo

  A very nice place close to Rome

  A small city with thermal water, even Michelangelo came here to heal his kidney stones. Hotel itself has very nice quiet rooms with a balcony and a nice view. Excellent spa situated in several levels, heated outdoor pool, saunas, inner hot pool, relax zones. The food was excellent, we had a gala dinner with a live band playing, several courses and a very professional and caring waiter. Italian coffee and large offer of pastry for breakfast (and lots more) was great. I will certainly come back.

  smaller 4-star hotel with thermal baths/spa access in the middle of the charming town on Fiuggi

  My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at the Silva Hotel Splendid in March. Hotel check-in staff were courteous, and check in was easy. The elevators up to the the rooms are small and slow; after getting our luggage up to our room on the 4th floor, we just walked the stairs the rest of our stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious. There is a mini-fridge but no hot kettle or coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was included in our room charge, and offered a good selection of hot and cold items, coffee and fruit. Robe, towel, shower shoes and cap are provided for each guest in the room, but you are requested to use them for the entire stay. Really wished you could get a clean, dry towel with each trip to the spa (the robe I didn't mind using the entire time.). The spa staff was helpful, and our massages that we scheduled were really relaxing and reasonably priced. The one issue I had with the thermal pools and facilities was the temperature of the waters. The sauna and thermal pool on the bottom floor were tepid at best; the facilities on the second level were a little warmer, and the outdoor thermal pool was not warm at all. The pools and facilities are clean and a little confusing to find, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing time at the spa. The little town is charming and full of cafes and stores that you can walk to from the hotel. Silva Hotel Splendid was a nice place to relax at a reasonable price.
