  Great hospitality!

  The hotel staff has been greatly helpful. The restaurant provides variety of food selection that I dont feel repetitive with food while my 3 day stay here. !

  Conference hotel

  This is nice place for conferences and all arrangements went smoothly. Location is quiet and connection to Arlanda airport is pretty fast. They had good breakfast and lunch. View to lake Mälaren from restaurant was really nice.

  Quiet Location for a Conference

  We stayed here for 4 nights for a company seminar that was held here. Our company use this venue a lot, which gives a good clue as to the quality. The location is about 20 minute drive from Arlanda airport in Stockholm but it is actually very out of the way, in the middle of the forests and this makes for a quiet and relaxing venue with no distractions. The venue has a very good bar/restaurant with great choices of Swedish food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also includes a spa and outdoor hot tubs. Rooms have a variety of national themes. Mine was Japanese with a futon style bed half way up the wall ! Rooms were not large but had all the usual expected amenities: tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. No mini bar or fridge in the rooms. The rooms were very quiet due to the layout; no banging doors or lift bells going off during the night. Rooms and communal areas were all very clean and tidy. Despite sub zero temperatures outside, everywhere inside was nice and warm. Conference facilities were good with a variety of large rooms and smaller meeting rooms and free tea and coffee on tap all day. WIFI was very good. I connected when I checked in on both my mobile phone and laptop and both remained connected for the entire stay; they never asked to reconnect or re-enter any details or passwords. I look forward to going back for our next event at this location !

  What is this about??

  Quite strange to see so many positive reviews. Clearly one must understand that the overal levels of many swedish hotels is quite basic, as is here. The good: - great view - fantastic breakfast - not too far from Arlanda - modern meeting rooms and reception/ restaurant area The bad: - SUPER SUPER small rooms. I figured out some colleagues even had smaller rooms. As this is a conference centre you expect place to work in your room. No desk (no room!) Windows are high up, so no view. A TV with the size of a tablet. Shower and toilet pretty much in 1. Low ceilings. Very claustrophobic feeling. Also noisy with banging doors at night. Heather on the top end of the bed that cannot be switched off... the whole set up looks more like a camp - fitness.. well this is actually really bad. Never seen a fitness room like this. Only 1 run down rowing machine (yes there is a cross trainer in the hallway) and some run down weight belts. As it's in the basement be careful not hitting your head... even the room itself wasnt maintained Dinner was mediocre.. Overal not sure where the 4 stars come from....... not from the rooms nor fitness facilities...

  Conference and cousine in Sigtuna

  The facility is situated on a height overlooking lake Mälaren and you never have to walk far to get to where you need to be. The kitchen offered a great blend of what the season could offer supported by friendly and attentative service. Being at Sigtunahöjden for a conference, the facility offers a wide variety of meeting rooms and break-out spots to stay creative. Warmly recommended if you want to have a different setting to your conference than the average hotel.
