  Worst Hotel Ever!!!

  If you are a sports team just stay in Yorkton. $140/night and they are shutting down the kids at 8:30pm. Room was a dump. Smelled like curry and bathroom smelled of smoke. Night crew promised discount due to smell but at check out they said I would have to talk to the manager who is in the next day!! Hot breakfast more like cold. They will not get another dime from me or any hockey team I have anything to do with. Please please stay away!!!

  If you are a sports team, save your money and go to Yorkton. This hotel is not willing to accommodate teams. This hotel is used to house CP Rail Employees; I respect that the hotel accommodates these people, but do not accept an 8 year old hockey team and expect them to sit in their hotel rooms in silence--- it won't happen! When we requested to have our kids/ and parents congregate in the breakfast room they wouldn't even consider it. They had zero appreciation that we were customers at their hotel; we were a huge inconvenience to their establishment. Hands down the least hospitable hotel I have ever stayed at. I contacted the manager (Patrick) the Monday after our stay to file a complaint, he told me he would call me back within after 24 hours. It's been 5 weeks.... I'm still waiting for that call.

  What a disaster

  I arrive at the hotel around midnight. The one staff member on duty clearly has no idea what he is doing. Doesn't have my reservation on file. I sit at the front desk for 15 minutes while he plays around with the computer. Finally he gives me keys without even signing me in. I go up to the room. Either it was occupied or was never cleaned. Bedsheets everywhere. So I go back downstairs. Now there is myself and 5 other people waiting for rooms. He has to go upstairs and check room by room which ones are actually cleaned. I get into my room. No surprise, no internet. In the morning, the tub is clogged and both the soap and shampoo dispensers are empty. Manager comps my first night. So I'm hoping things are resolved when I come back for night two. Well, no internet, no soap, no shampoo. Even worse, when I call the front desk at 830pm, they tell me there is nobody from housekeeping that can rectify this and all he can do is leave a message for the manager in the morning. Utter incompetence at its finest. Do yourself a favor if staying in Melville. Stay at the cheaper motels where you get fantastic customer service.

  BAD BAD SERVICE .. STAFF NOT PREESENT IN THE MORNING

  Went down for breakfast at 6 am .. no breakfast there .. checked periodically till 7 am no breakfast no desk personal . Tried phoning desk tried phoning service number at desk .no answer desk .. continuous busy signal service phone at desk . Could not check out till morning desk person came ..Finally morning staff showed up and had no idea what was going on .. couldnt find night desk man either . left hungrey but finally got to check out .

  Wow !!! Awesome place

  Expectations were high about this property, lucked out got a kitchenette great beds, quiet, comfortablu, very friendly, profssional, perfectly done breakfast! , let us check in a bit early, great!! Parking ample, very well maintained, no real competition in town but they ddnt slack off on the quality!
