  A pleasant surprise

  We arrived later in the afternoon after driving from Christchurch, we were greeted by a lovely man at reception we assume was the owner of the establishment, he was very friendly and welcoming, we were pleasantly surprised at how well presented and clean our room was, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, one of the things we particularly liked was the ample storage for more than one suitcase, the bed was very comfortable and the a/c was quiet and efficient, we were lucky to have a room facing the front garden, our only minor complaint was the room had no sheer curtains, only heavy drapes as all rooms are on ground level, drawing the drapes for light meant no privacy from anyone walking past or using the garden otherwise we were more than happy with the room and would gladly recommend it to friends and family.

  Immaculately clean!

  When we came into our room, which was the 2 bedroom apartment, at the Sierra Motel I was absolutely blown away by how clean it was!! There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. Whoever is the cleaner there- I wan't them to come do my house! It was just such a tidy, pleasant, well-maintained property. I would recommend it 100% to anyone staying in the area!

  Easy walk to the pub

  Friendly welcome at reception, accurate advice on food and restaurant options. Tidy, comfortable, warm. Pre-packed breakfast pack not substantial and a bit pricey. Better off getting breakfast at the local grocery store.

  Lovely stay in Omarama

  This is the third time we have stayed in this lovely motel. If you are coming for a night or weekend away this is the perfect place to stay in Omarama. It is right across the road for the Omarama Hot Tubs which is great if you have an evening booking there. The people who run it are always warm and friendly and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Comfy couch for watching movies, and big beds with crisp linen. We highly recommend and will be back again :)

  Traditional Confort

  A typical motel of the 60s and 70s which has been tastefully modernised Quiet but close to the main road. Adequate bathroom with plenty of hot water, great beds and a well appointed kitchen Close to the hot pools plus local cafes and restaurants
