Mixed teview
Visited the Side Star Park as a British couple, for a weeks holiday. Plus points :- 1. On arrival upgraded to a beautiful family room overlooking the pool 2. All public areas and pool kept spotlessly clean 3. Waiters and waitresses all pleasant but spoke to us in German as were one of possibly two or three British families staying there 4. Breakfast selection good but evening meal not so good 5. Turkish night meal by the pool very good Bad points:- 1. Receptionist spoke very little English 2. Animation team never spoke to us as we are not German 3. Received a text from TUI saying our welcome meeting would be on Thursday 5th September but we had actually arrived on 31st August so what use would that have been and were told in our welcome pack that the meeting would be on 1st September 4. Never had a visit from a rep 5. Although we were not bothered about being the British minority, this hotel should not be marketed by TUI Uk in my opinion

Holiday
Just leaving this lovely hotel. Yes we were in the minority 80% German 20% other nationalities of which I think we were one of 3 British couples. This did not affect our holiday we keep to ourselves anyway. We did not use the pool which was huge and not deep either end I think 1.4 metres from end to end. We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach which was private to our hotel, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. With our own bar which served lunch endless drinks and ice cream much more laid back than the hotel. Side is beautiful full of historic sites and the old town we ate out in for a change from the all inclusive is lovely. Food is plentiful but as with most all inclusive can get repetitive. Would I return, hell yes see you soon .

Nice break
Decent hotel but certainly not 5 star. Staff pleasant and helpful. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the main centre of Side but plenty of local amenities. Food in the restaurant was also reasonable but very samey. Older clientele and principally German. Room was quite tired and needs refreshed/updated. Still had a nice holiday all in all :-)

awful management
we arrived on the 28th Sept 2019 at 11pm all very tiered and was greeted by a very pleasent gentleman at the reception and told that because of the Thomas cook situation there was'nt 2 rooms which we had booked as there was 5 of us in our party 3 of them disabled so they would put us in one room for the night and then give us our second room on the Sunday okay we will make do for 1 night,,,,, Sunday we went down to reception and told there was no rooms with showers!! as the 3 disabled people couldn't get into a bath so we had no choice but to take 1 room which slept 4 people and squeeze one more bed in with a shower and we argued with the manager that we booked 2 rooms with showers and as this was going on there was more people checking in and they was getting there rooms with showers!!! but no not us the managers attitude was awful we ALL had to live out of suit cases for 5 days and squeeze in and to say sorry they gave us wine and fruit it is an all-inclusive hotel so we can get that any time!!!! talk about a slap in the face the reception staff were told not to help us we even had the manger up to the room to show how we were living and still was not intrested. we was treated like sheep and the attitude towards disabled people is awful after 5 days we was given our second room and the manager with a smug look on his face turned round and said happy now!! total disrespectful

Good holiday
So arrived 12.45am got checked in and shown to our room then told there was some hot food waiting for us down stairs. The room was nice and clean had mini bar with effes beer, big bottle of water, coke etc that was restocked as you used it. A safe also provided free, good selection of Toiletries including conditioner which good, slippers and even a nice little beach bag which was a nice touch. They gave you pool towels but you had to pay 1 euro each every time you changed them which I've never come across before.wish I'd taken my own as well. Never had any problem getting sunbeds pool or beach. Pool is huge a little chilly but OK. Beach is just down the road got a little section for our hotel nice and sandy and sea was warm and shallow so great just to cool of. There is a bar and food just for hotel also. Food is good always found something tasty. Staff always friendly topping up drinks as you finish them. Yes there are a lot of Germans there but we don't like all English hotels anyway my only problem with them is how much they smoke if you have asthma or breathing trouble probably not a wise choice of hotel as can't get away from the smoke. Another hint if food starts at 7 the Germans get there for 7 and are very determined about getting their food so waited till 8.30 it's a lot quieter. We had a good time though was glad only there for a week.
