  On week holiday with my 75 year old mum

  Superb holiday!!! We arrived late and were given an upgraded room as our room had been over booked. The previous reviews I read and I think are based on bad attitude!! If you are rude to people how can you expect respect!!! The hotel staff are excellent and extremely hard working!! Good especially fish and salad the best weve ever had also with excellent wine Entertainment every night enjoyable even though mostly German and Russian once they knew we were there we were included great fun! Cleanliness , excellent , vivid 19 precautions superb Any trips you want to take go outside where the travel beach bus is take the bus and walk back you wont miss it! It has lots of electric skooter etc I cannot stress ignore the bad reviews we have been all over the world .. ok maybe not 5 star for the money it is... best tip book deluxe pool side room

  Not happy would not go back

  We booked this holidays last September and we decided to take our 2 youngest grandchildren who live with us who are 2 & 3yr old ( our 3yr old has autism). When we arrived at 21:45 we went to check in and the gentleman behind was very blunt and it seemed what ever questions we had to ask he couldnt be bothered to answer. We were told that we are in a Duluxe room which sleeps 3 so the 2 children will have to sleep together, I was not going to do that as our granddaughter needs her own space because of the autism ,he then offered to put another bed in the room which we agreed.We were taken to our room and was shocked not only was it dark it was also very small and hardly any room to move, if they tried to fit a single bed in that would mean no walking space at all and would have to move on our beds was not good enough at all.We took our bags and went straight back to the receptionist who gave us a dirty look, we explained that there is no room at all to move, that we need another room, he said he has loads of family rooms empty so we can have one of those, we was very happy until he told us that we have to pay 100 The customer relations was not there and we could not get through to Loveholidays. We paid it as we had no choice ( Loveholidays has said we can make the complaint when we are home ) The room needs a lot of work in it, beds wasnt made and only changed once, you have a quilt which didnt fit the bed abs for 2 days we also had a sheet then it disappeared, we only had 3 towels for the 4 of us we asked 5 times to have a extra towel and was always told they will bring it up but never appeared. We had to pay 20 for the safe and free wifi which wasnt very good, you have tv in the room but again didnt cater for the English as we only had sky news the rest was in Turkish and German. We could not get anything to eat and it was now 11pm so decided to open our cases and get some sleep We had to wear our mask at all times when walking around the hotel and in the restaurant when you sit to eat you can then remove your masks there was a lot of Russians and Germans who thought it was ok not to wear mask at all.All the food had to be served to you as was behind screens which was good so no one could touch the food but this took a long time to get anything to eat but it needed to be done so can not complain. There was a lot of different foods but it wasnt a good choice and did not cater for children unless you want them to have pizza and cold chips, there wasnt a lot of tables so was always searching every meal time. There was a indoor pool which we never went to. A pool with slides again didnt go there as it was in the shade. So we stayed by the main pool, there were plenty of sun beds so no fighting lol best place to sit is by the kids pool as you get the sun from 10am till 5 It was always clean by the pool, the morning barman around the pool was lovely. You can get the mini coach to the beach how ever 3 people were bitten in the water including my husband not sure by what but drew blood. The entertainment at the hotel is really bad you can see they dont have a budget, one of the shows was a man pretending to play guitar on another man dressed in Lycra and thought it was funny strumming the mans private parts do t think that was right in front of kids. There were 3 people from the entertainment team what went out their way to talk to us and play with the children they were Sefika, Nuri and Sabrina the others just could not be bothered as soon as you said English they walked away. even in the shows they didnt speak English so not very good. We just managed to get threw for the 10 nights and our last night we went to reception to see what time we were being picked up and because it was different my granddaughter who has autism was crying and we were doing our best to comfort her when we was approached by a member of staff who told us to shut the girl up we were shocked so I asked who he was and even more shocked when he told me he was the customer relations, I explained that she has autism and is very emotional he said I dont care no one wants to hear her so shut her up Or go away I did take his name but there was no one to complain to his name is Muhammad Egrikol. We was just so shocked we couldnt wait to get away from this hotel and I can assure you we will not be going back there. We go to Turkey every year and this is by far the worst one so far and Im sorry to say Turkey isnt for the English no more I think for the whole of the 10 days there were only 3 families rest Russian abs German

  Stay away very rude

  Myself and my husband have just returned,on arrival was greeted by concierge he was the most rude arrogant person I have ever met,all we heard dont speak English huffing and puffing,because we hadnt filled in forms properly they want you to fill in.through out holiday tryed asking for help regarding numerous things and was passed from non English speaking staff on reception to concierge again who turned his head said I dnt speak English.,this hotel is a nightmare,drinks are horrible cheap cocktails mixers,its the staff who spoil it hotels quiet nice looking.we had a phn call from a man who demanded us down to reception the next morning at8 to tell us about the hotel,to which we went,he was quiet informative not great English but better than most his name was Jed he was the only person we could ask anything to in the end if you seen him.the food wasnt great we called it mish mash,we ended eating out most time nothing matched food always lukewarm,we went away for a break only found frustration with the non speaking arrogant staff,the restraunts and bars outside had better speaking staff ,for a hotel its very poorOther English who we met said the same,beach bar has no staff queuing up for drinks all the time in the heats not great stay away if you read this review

  Awful

  My previous review was removed even though I DID attend this hotel for 7 days, the sister hotels are linked and you can use facilities in them also, so I am able to provide a fair review on experience in 2 hotels, although my main residence was charm palace It does not mention this is a German holiday resort, which means, German food, German only speaking staff( probably only 4 staff who speak English) German music and German kids shows and entertainment I think you get the picture You may meet 1 or 2 English families during your stay but you are very much on your own There are much better British based hotels unless you want to be left out for the week and your kids bored as they cannot join in entertainment The hotel is lovely, the food not so great as its German and not to my taste, no English breakfast, but sausage, boiled egg and salad instead at 9am! Only full fat mixers, no Diet Coke Great spot for sun, and no problem getting loungers, the plus side. Just a shame I dont speak German so was very left out and unable to join in for the week Overall very disappointing and a waste of money, had I have known this hotel does not cater for British people I would never have booked it You have been warned

  Nice cheap get away

  Ignore the bad reviews, for the price you pay for this hotel its a bargain, really nice hotel and very clean! Room was nice, clean and modern. Food was ok, but a bit of a mish mash, no proper meals, just a bit if everything. The alcohol was a bit ropey, but didnt really expect top shelf alcohol at an all inclusive This hotel made us feel very safe with its COVID measures in place, temp checks as you enter the hotel, bags sprayed as you check in and temp checks at breakfast, all Staff wearing masks and guests not getting served at bars if not wearing a mask. Bar and waiting staff all lovely and really friendly, however the reception staff very rude, except one of them, who every time we spoke to him was beyond helpful!To an extent I understand why they are rude when you see how some of the non English guests speak and treat them. If the food was improved, I would happily give this hotel a 5
