  One of my best tour

  Highly recommended place! Brilliant staff.receptionists etc are warm friendly. siddalepa was truly soulful. It helped me to get a good psychological and physical detox. Made some lovely new friends. Feeling lighter even after two months! Their individual attention and peaceful atmosphere is addictive. Food is excellent. Rooms are cozy. My backpain is still not gone but I benefitted in unexpected ways. :( That femail yoga teacher suggested to me come to her teacher's place and near by resort was cheap,that was not good for the risort future.

  Great!

  We stayed at Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort (which is about 1 hour from Colombo) for 17 days. We really liked the establishment. The rooms and the location right next to the sea. We could walk on the beach and enjoy the sunset everyday. The staff is kind and always attentive to our needs. We thank the managers Mister Priyantha and Mister Suranga. The receptionists, Mrs. Thilini, the doctors (Dr. D.A. sarath), the therapists (Chathurani), the treatment was great. We feel better and relaxed. The kitchen was very good. We thank: Dinesh, Lakmal, Pavan,chef Seemon, Ranuka, Duranja and all the others... We thank Mister Sujith and the Yoga teacher (Kumara) who comes every morning and evening. The pool was very well maintained. It was our first stay at Siddahalepa, we recommend and will come back!! Thank you :)

  Fantastic relaxing place

  Very good place for relaxing and Ayurveda treatment. Friendly staff, big and good Ayurveda Centr with perfect massages and other procedures and different kind of oils, medicine for treatment.There are a lot of trees and very green area. Good healthy food with different kind of fruits, herbal teas, vegetables. We are living in bungalow with ocean view and were very happy. The beach is wide and there is no people here. If you wand to make full relaxing for your body and your mind and get new energy for life - this is the best place!

  A visit in heaven

  From the first step into the resort to the good-by, my stay was fantastic. Highly professional Ayurveda treatments. Every day, first a consultation with the med. doctor (Dr. Oshini), who was absolutely wonderful and giving ample explanation. My therapist (Lanka) always checking on my comfort, performed her duties highly professional. The food, so diversified and delicious. Always a doctor was present at all meals, assisting to all equations and advise what to eat and what better to leave. All the personell were always attentive and very kind. It definitely is not my last time at the Siddhalepa resort!

  Beautiful spa but a herbal they gave me had serious consequences

  I was in much need of relaxation and recuperation and told the doctor this on arrival - I stated I want nothing traumatic. I enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, food and the treatments. The guests were mainly german and Russian but because no one was english, it added to the tranquility. Total switch off. Great. Then on the 6th day the doctor said that the next day was purging day. I told her that I didn't need one or want one. I am a Nutritional therapist and do regular bowel cleanses. She insisted, saying it was an important part of the programme. The next day I was given 2 aralu herb small round tablets. Without going into all the gory details, my blood pressure went from 115 to 175 in less than an hour, pains in my heart and left shoulder, head exploding, numbness in my feet and legs. Some kind of toxic shock. I had 4 doctors working on me for over an hour. Then a doctor stayed with me or checked on me for the rest of the day. It was a horrendous and frightening experience. I was so weak. I couldn't enjoy neither the rest of my stay there or the tour that I did afterwards. I still haven't recovered and I got back in March. Spa Dreams who I booked with didn't want to know and blacklisted me from emailing ( I only sent one feedback and one email!!) The resort have just that is the normal reaction!! This needs investigating!
