  una gran experiencia

  Fue la primera experiencia en un ryokan y no pudo haber sido mejor. El personal muy amable, poco inglés pero el suficiente para hacerse entender. Te dan la Yukata y te explican las indicaciones generales (además de estar por escrito en la habitacion) de como usar el onsen. Esta separado hombres y mujeres. para mi el estar en baño termal, al aire libre viendo el anochecer con vistas al Monte Fuji ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi viaje. Además tienen un monton de productos como champu, cremas...que puedes probar y que luego tienes en la tienda por si te quieres llevar a casa (yo me lleve un par de cosas). La cena como más tarde es a las 19hs y tienes que estar un poco antes. Montan la mesa y luego van trayendo más platos y la chica te va explicando. En definitiva un gran hotel y sin duda repetiría.   La vista

  Realmente un hotel ryokan maravilloso. La vista desde nuestra habitacion sobre el lago era de ensueno. La cena fue exquisita, y el onsen una maravilla. El desayuno muy variado. Es caro pero vale la pena

  Espectacular

  Espectaluraes las vistas vistas al Fuji - por la mañana temprano, ya que a medida que avanza la mañana la neblina se espesa.Espectacular la cena kaiseki servida en la habitación por la camarera asignada a nuestra atención, con ceremonia y amabilidad. Espectacular el osen exterior con vistas al lago y al monte (aunque, repito, no suele mostrarse más que a horas tempranas). Espectacular el desayuno, un tanto extraño de entrada para nuestras costumbres, pero que recomiendo olvidarlas y darse un homenaje de especialidades japonesas para desayunar. Aún cuando la arquitectura del hotel es moderna, todo en él es de estilo tradicional japonés. La habitación es muy amplia, incluso para nuestros estándares, y se convierte en dormitorio al retirar la camarera, a un lugar apropiado, la mesa y extender los futones.

  my best stay in Japan

  What I love the most about this hotel was the rooms. The rooms was like traditional Japanese houses. The room was huge and had a beautiful view of Mt.Fuji. They even gave a Yukata for kids and adults. I was surprised there was an Onsen in this hotel. The staff in the check~in center will give you a rule~set about how to use the Onsen. there was a indoor Onsen and a outdoor Onsen which even had a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. they served us free beer and ice water near the Onsen. The Kaiseki dinner was beyond our expectation. The presentation of the food was wonderful. They even asked questions if we had allergies and if we could eat raw meat. The staff that took care of us was really nice and spoke English fluently. The food was also very good. We also tried the breakfast there. I loved the Japanese menu especially the omelet. Overall this was my favorite stay in our 2~week trip.

  Breathtaking view, great staff, some areas lacking

  It breaks my heart not to give this hotel full 5 stars as I was really looking forward to staying here after the wonderful reviews. The staff was great, super nice and spoke English, I enjoyed the kaiseki dinner set up, and of course, the magical Mt. Fuji view was breathtaking, but there was aspects of the stay that I found lacking. First, the lack of fresh towels in the public bathing area. There was a note in our room that said that there wont be fresh towels starting at a certain hour in the evening, either 8:00 or 9:00 PM. That was fine, we brought our own from the room. However, the next morning when the public baths opened again at 5:00 AM, I was there at 6 am and there were no towels at all. I had not brought any with me, thinking they would restock the towels in the morning. For something this basic, like towels, Im not sure why this cant be accomplished. Also I cant fault the hotel from the behavior of other guests, but towards the evening there were families in the public bath area, little boys and girls running and screaming in the Womens bath house, treating it like a public pool. It ruined the tranquil atmosphere of the onsen, but there were no other hotel staff or workers around at all. I had to leave after 10 minutes, which was disappointing. This hotel is very popular with visitors and for having the most perfect view of Mt. Fuji, but some facilities are very dated and lacking in areas.
