  Great spot!

  Friendly staff comfortable rooms. Great place to stay on the way to national parks. This venue is located in the heart of the high plains (I.e. High Plains Drifter AKA Clint Eastwood). Active American museum across the parking lot from the hotel entrance.

  Nice upgrade to hotel and no smoking casino

  I stayed one night, Tuesday, and the casino was not full at all. I could play just about any machine I wanted. Every other machine is closed down, and there were still plenty to choose from. No smoking is a plus for me. Machines were nice to me!! The room was great, and I love the eucalyptus/jasmine toiletries.

  Rude Staff

  My husband and I stayed at this hotel last night with our Service Dog. We disclosed that we had our dog while making the reservation and at check in. This morning as we took our dog out to the grass area, the Night Security person drove up and told my husband that there were no dogs allowed, and that she wasn't aware of our dog being on the premises. A few minutes later, the sprinklers came on, dousing my dog and I with water. Stay anywhere else!

  Dont waste your time

  Customer service is horrible! They are rude and disrespectful toward their guests! They are not transparent about pricing or your stay. Rooms are not as nice as what is marketed. Lots of drug addicts in the casino area. Not worth the money or the drive!

  Know when to fold em...don't stay here

  We have stayed here previously and enjoyed it so we booked again this time around. That was a HUGE mistake! We checked in 30 mins before official check in and tried to get a reservation for the pool. We were informed that they were all booked already and that the next available time was actually AFTER checkout. I advised they should potentially put that on their website and the manager informed me that it's "1st come 1st serve." Which again, we were 30 mins prior to official check-in so odd that we couldn't get a time or even try. I believe that they don't want to let potential customers know in case that is a deciding factor to book there. I feel as if that is a deceitful way to operate the business as I didn't feel as if I got my money's worth, of which I paid twice for...speaking of that, prior to check-in they did a security hold on my card to ensure there was money available prior to arrival. That is normal so no complaints there. However, upon checkin, they billed me for my room and at checkout, they billed me again. Having experience in the credit card industry, it's common practice to authorize the card and then complete the transaction upon checkout. This did not happen however and they double billed me. The manager didn't have much to say aside from "it will be alright." No, it won't actually. We were originally planning on eating dinner last night and breakfast this morning at the on-site restaurant, but decided against it. Last time, I went to the casino when the kids were asleep, this time I knew better. We are actually supposed to be back in town next month, but will NOT be booking here for that trip or any trips thereafter. I will also be mentioning my experience through the gym so the other parents are aware to steer clear of this establishment. Lastly, only one elevator is currently working and the stairs are at the back of the building. We were on the 5th floor so it was a great exercise for me I guess...To wrap it all up, stay here at your own risk, the employees were actually friendly, however the manager has no clue how to talk to paying customers and ensure they leave with a good memory of this place to ensure future business. NO THANKS TO THIS EVER AGAIN!
