  One night too many!

  Built on the corner of the main road and side street. Very noisey. Pokey uncomfortable bedrooms and bathroom. Shower cubicle small. No where on handbasin to put toiletries for three people or to hand towels. Avoid this one!

  Disability Friendly

  While on the main road into town, this motel is not particularly affected by traffic noise. It is easy to find, being on the corner, and well signposted. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, leading us to the room, and assisting us in finding out how the TV/Sky worked, where the light switches were and where the motel information folder was located. The room was disability friendly, featuring a bathroom with only one shallow step to the shower with plenty of space and handrails right around the large shower space, and with a long seat against one wall of the shower. The kitchen facilities were generous, the beds comfortable and good TV viewing with the provision of Sky TV, a vast improvement on TV viewing in Auckland. The office had a huge number of brochures on attractions in the local area and further afield. All together excellent value for money with good services.

  Noisy but Clean

  Unfortunately we had end unit at front as needed 2 bedrooms. This was very noisy until about 2am then road traffic started again about 5am. Staff were friendly and unit dated but very clean. Suited our purpose for one night, but if staying again would definitely want a rear unit.

  The least executive room

  I booked this room through an online hotel site and paid for the more expensive executive room and I couldnt stay here. It was old and very worn. And in fact the rig they had placed over the torn carpet was filthy. The carpet was stained in many places. There were holes in the wall above the bath that didnt fill me with comfort. Their executive room was also the closest to the street and traffic noise was loud. They said they couldnt move me because they were full but seriously there were no vacancies. But the place looked empty. But they did agree to refund my non-refundable prepaid money. So I moved on. This place is just old and the prices dont reflect that. It was pretty clean except for some spots of uncleanness.

  Place is older but clean close to the road but all of the motels are in a line so would all be the same. Bed was comfortable good shower. Place was reasonably priced and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming Would stay again
