  Stay at Shivadaya

  Its a wonderful property just few kilometres from Manali sparing the hustle and crowd. The hosts are really nice and warm people. The rooms were heated and we had a comfortable stay even at -8 degrees.

  Shivadya stay

  Very beautiful location and place is one of the very best if someone wants a peaceful and relaxing environment. All staff and owner are very caring. Views are great all day long and located at such a point that many must visits are near by. We had a very pleasant time and we would like to stay again at this place so totally recommend it.

  Trip to a Dreamland!

  We stayed at ShivAdya from 27th Dec to 1st Jan. It turned out to be one of our most memorable trips ever, and we have travelled a lot! It started with reaching late on 27th Dec and then having snow falling the next morning. It is one of the most memorable sights u can have standing in the hotel and viewing the entire Kullu-Manali valley. The view from the hotel is quite a sight! With the hotel providing all the amenities like electric blanket, we could enjoy the snow even more. The next day we were advised by Ritesh (hotel owner) to do a small drive up to Rumsu village beyond Roerich's art gallery on the way to Chanderkhani pass. We drove upto a point where ourbcar cud go and after that we walked amongst apple orchards where there was only snow and nothing else. It was like our private little snow treat! The best was saved for the next day where Ritesh organized a day picnic (must do!) to a place on the way to Hampta pass. We had the sweetest of drivers in Amar whose 4x4 was absolutely appropriate for the 1 hr journey. Thsi drive thru snow laden mountains into an area where there was miles of pristine snow was a sight to behold. People have spoken about Switzerland, Gulmarg etc. This was as beautiful if not more, and I am not exaggerating. We spent hours enjoying the snow as never before. The icing on the cake was the nice lunch we had on the snow that ShivAdya had packed for us! It was the little details that made all the difference. The last night was new year's eve night. We had a nice intimate bonfire, dinner and must session ushering in the new year! Just perfect for us, not too loud, not too quiet! 1st Jan we had to sadly leave back for home. As Ritesh had mentioned in his whatsapp mesage before coming to ShivAdya, we will be sad to part ways. And so it was, because staying at ShivAdya was just like coming home. With Ritesh and Neelam (husband n wife) alongwith their sweet but giant Labrador Boxster making it feel like home, it was difficult to say bye! To add up, the entire staff was so friendly and professional that the entire trip felt like a dream! ShivAdya is an amazingly built place with the perfect mix of local feel and modern touch. Thankfully complete opposite of the big monolithic hotels you see at times which are like sore thumbs. With the location of ShivAdya also being perfect for us (15 kms before Manali, away from the riff-raff) it turned out to be just the place to go- Perfect!

  Perfect Place For Visit

  This was an amazing experience and the stay was comfortable. The staff has helpful behaviour and we were happy to book this from Thrillophilia. Beutiful scenery and peaceful area. Perfect place to visit here. Highly recomended!!
