Nastiest hotel I've ever stayed atConsidering the price (cheap-ish) and location, I expected this "hotel" to be very basic but I had no idea it would be this much of a dump. It was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. We requested a non-smoking room and were given an ashtray of a room - not only was it a smoking room, it also had crushed cigarettes everywhere (on the floors, etc.). The walls were dirty, the sheets had holes, the bathroom was full of crusty mold. Seeing as we checked-in after 10pm and we were two women alone and we can't speak Chinese, we decided to spend the night (fully dressed, on top of the covers - we didn't even take a shower as it felt we would be dirtier afterward). The internet was very blotchy and crappy. It was not even good enough for us to try and find another hotel via the internet. We were supposed to stay 3 days. We left at 7am the next morning, with all our luggage and we found a much decent hotel, still at a walking distance from the Forbidden City - and for 10$, we got a clean place. DO NOT STAY HERE. The only good thing about it is its proximity to many attractions and subway station... it is not worth it. Pay 10$ extra and stay somewhere SAFE and CLEAN - still close to everything.

TourismWhen we arrived the people from the reception were very rude, and they dont speak english. They arent willing to help.. We didnt have a good experience. Not recommended. The location is good... The rooms are ok, but the bathroom is ugly and dirty
