  Business hotel

  Este hotel en wuxi es perfecto para negocios. Restaurantes en el primer piso. Recomendamos el Japones, aunque el dia que estuvimos el aire acondicionado estaba muy fuerte. La carta de menu en tablet con foto del plato es muy practico, aunque la mayoria de las personas de contacto con el publico hablan ingles. Bien localizado en la ciudad.

  Good but not great

  Ive been coming here for a couple years now. I am a titanium elite member. Only until recently did they acknowledge my Marriott status. After finally getting access to the lounge on the 26th floor I was disappointed. I like to relax and get some work done after hours with a drink or two yet they do a terrible job of keeping their beverages stocked. Very few beer options, liquor bottles were mostly empty but with no beverages to mix with. I did finally get a non-smoking room on the top floor which didnt smell. The smoking rooms do very much smell like an ash tray. As many other reviews have stated, the HVAC doesnt seem to work. I have yet to be in a room that keeps the room at a comfortable temperature. Open the windows they say, um...no. This is Wuxi, Id rather keep the smog outside. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. I cant say all but most. I think the breakfast and restaurant on the first floor is good. They have an Indian cook who cooks well. I have not had a meal that I didnt like. I only had buffet for breakfast. The hotel is about a 15 minute taxi from the railway station and about 25rmb. Nice location next to the mall & metro station. Its not downtown but close enough. I continue to stay here because it is the closest Marriott to work. If they could fix the hvac and do a better job in the executive lounge Id be a happy camper.

  A pleasant surprise

  This Sheraton is close to metro station. Has the standard amenities you expect from Sheraton. The pool water temperature was perfect and sauna on site was just an added bonus. Front desk staff was friendly to Bonvoy member.

  The fish stinks from the head

  Company booked me a room at the Sheraton Wuxi. My second time coming to Wuxi and also my second time staying at this hotel. My first was sometime in 2018. Things have taken a very bad turn here. I remembered this hotel to be so much better, than what it now is. The management is literally non-existent, not exaggerating. It is the loneliest and most eerie experience. Nobody to even greet you like a human being. Nobody showing a friendly face. Nobody smiling. I can empathize that the current situation has devastated hotels and I overheard employees talking to each other about being forced to work overtime while their salaries were being cut. I think if a hotel does this it requires a strong leader to motivate their employees so I'm sad to see the current state of affairs here. Travellers coming here should be aware of their malpractice and book other hotels that put their employees first as it eventually reflects in the service to the guests. I would rather not list all the defects I found as I think what I mentioned above to be the real cause for the domino effect.

  Modern stay with Grand Entrance...

  Stayed here for two weeks during my visit to Wuxi. The first thing you will see on entering the hotel is the grand foyer with enormous chandelier that will leave you wondering how it is possible. The overall comfort and service at the hotel is decent. Communication is a little difficult but they will do their best to help you. There is also a mall conveniently located just outside the hotel.
