    Beware they invade privacy

    They tried walking into my room without knocking, then I was asked to leave a day early for burning some sage on the patio, which they tried to say was pot and that there were several complaints. There were, however, no other guests on my floor and when I confronted them about house keeping attempting to walk in my room they tried to lie and say there were no house keepers working, even though I had asked one that was cleaning the room right next to mine for towels less than an hour prior. When they said it wasn't their policy to walk into a room unannounced I had explained that I wasn't alone when this happened and my guest could verify everything I had said. We were both in the front room and both had 0 clothes on. Had I not had the latch on the door, it would've been much more humiliating. Yet instead of making that right, I was asked to leave even though I had already paid for the duration of my stay and was not refunded anything. The day that hotel staff feel they can enter a room, with a do not disturb sign, without knocking or anything, is the day that the privacy included is no longer part of the experience and defeats the whole purpose of staying there. This place needs to be put under new management and the staff needs to have more training and be able to follow procedures the hotel has in place. ESPECIALLY considering covid 19 is still very much a threat and having staff randomly enter rooms puts my life and those lives in close proximity to me in jeopardy. This hotel needs to be shut down until they can eliminate the risk their staff puts towards the lives of every guest that stays there.

    Read reviews before booking

    I should have looked at the three star rating and booked another property. It was not the level of Marriott service as expected. ROOMS: We booked this property due to the "2 bedroom suite". The pictures on the site are deceptive. I assumed that it would be a 2-bedroom with a living area, just like every other 2 bedroom suite that I've ever stayed in; however it was extremely disappointing it was extremely small and crowded. As soon as you enter the room, the bed is right in front of you! The second bedroom is separated by a sliding door. I booked 3 rooms, 2 of those rooms for my daughters and their family. I requested in advance that the rooms be on the same floor but ended up being 2 floors away. I was there to watch my grandchildren. Hard to do being 2 floors away. Received no compensation, apology or explanation. BATHROOM:There is no lock on the doors. Bathroom is EXTREMELY outdated. The tub didn't have a stopper. There were no Accessible rooms. The toilet seat broke when we sat down on it. Guest Services: Front desk needs better training in hospitality. Especially the Asst Director of Sales, Roland Lopez. He harassed me days prior to arrival on "if I was really going to show up to my reservations. " After contacting Marriott Loyalty multiple times, ot took 3 weeks to receive my points. I'm a Gold Member and I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional, inhospitable service. PET FRIENDLY: I saw more dogs than humans. Had I known it was a pet friendly hotel, I definitely wouldn't have stayed. I found dog food all over the hallway. Grubby, noisy, not able to request an extra towel, etc., unfriendly front desk, and very disappointing, I would have moved hotels without a second thought. 420 Friendly: I say that because that's what I smelled the 2 days I was there. On the balcony, in the rooms and outdoors.

    New Years Eve 2020

    Stayed here for a night before flying out to CA. Rooms are clean and recently remodeled. I am Bonvoy Titanium elite so we got an upgraded room to 1033. Room was nice but there is A LOT of Highway noise in this room, and the room was warm. Staff was nice and check in easy easy, price was good.

Went for New Year's Eve for the fireworks. Checked into two rooms... both wreaked of smoke. Went downstairs to tell them. Housekeeping supervisor came up and agreed but said without finding the source of the smoke, there was nothing she could do outside of spray air freshener! We decided to lay down and feathers went everywhere! There were holes in the pillows! We left yo get some air. I went by the desk to tell them about the pillows and they said they were sorry and they would replace them. Upon checkout, NEVER saw those pillows! Finally, went outside to see fireworks and couldn't enjoy anything because the neighbor underneath us was smoking weed! I mean it was so strong a contact high was inevitable, so we went back inside and I called the front desk. One minute later I received a phone call asking me if someone in my room was smoking weed... I was done at that moment. If driving home was an option, I would have opted in to leave! I went to the bathroom to get a kleenex only to find that after I blowed my nose with the first one, there were used kleenex and a tampon in the bottom of the box! I was charged for parking that was supposed to be free! I was assured that a manager would call me after I checked out. It is after 7 pm and no one has called. I normally stay with Hilton hotels and this has never happened. I will NEVER stay with Marriott hotels or Sheraton again if this is the standard.

    Beautiful Escape

    Sheraton Suite Market Center was very beautiful. The room was clean and refreshing. They are very accommodating and attentive. They have excellent recommendations and assist with whatever I requested. We checked out early because of the restrictions due to the pandemic. However, we would definitely come back.
