    Lindo hotel, sin grandes lujos, excelente desayuno

    Me hospedé con mi esposa e hija sólo 3 noches en este hotel, como alternativa luego de haber estado varios días en la Magnificent Mile de Chicago, ya que también era nuestra intención visitar las principales ciudades de los alrededores. Cuenta con estacionamiento incluido en la tarifa, como así también el desayuno es muy recomendable. La habitación no contaba con grandes lujos, pero sí muy cómoda en sus dimensiones. Cuenta con transfer al aeropuerto O'Hare.

    Terrible Experience

    I normally don't leave reviews but this was such a bad experience I'd feel terrible not to. When I made the reservation I made sure to ask if they have a free shuttle to O'Hare Airport as our family was traveling for vacation. The answer was "yes" we have a free shuttle so I booked the Park and Fly package for Friday night with the shuttle on Saturday morning. As I am checking in I asked to set up a time for the shuttle and was told "we don't have a free shuttle on the weekends, it only runs Monday through Friday". So even though I asked and the person who took my reservation confirmed, there isn't a shuttle on the weekend so I ended having to pay over $40 to access a shuttle to the airport. There was also an "additional person" charge even though it was me, my wife and are 2 young kids. I used to travel for my job and I have never encountered this charge when traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids under the age of five. The indoor swimming pool was ice cold and when I say ice cold I mean it. My 5 year old jumped in and I have never seen someone so shocked. We spent less than 5 mins in the pool before my kids lips were turning purple. This was a huge bummer as we got there early so our kids could tire themselves out by swimming for a while. Later that night my wife and I were a little hungry so we decided to order a room service chicken quesadilla. I've ordered room service before and know it is a bit more expensive than going to the hotel restaurant. The $25-30 quesadilla seemed a bit steep to me and if you look at the attached image you will see the nasty surprise that was inside the quesadilla. When I bit into it I felt like I cracked my tooth as well. In the morning we went down for breakfast before catching out now paid for shuttle. The server told us to see anywhere and she got us drinks. There wasn't a menu and was a hot server yourself breakfast. Everything seemed like a complimentary breakfast. So we ate. When we were done, I went to check out and the server come over add asked for our breakfast vouchers. I told her I was never given any, because I wasn't. A little bit of complaining to the person that was checking us out of our room and they decided to take care of the breakfast. Still don't know if we were supposed to have vouchers and didn't receive them or not. Overall this was a terrible experience for me and my family. I would caution anyone looking to stay here and if you decide to, I sure hope you have a better time that we did.

    Terrible attitude and stingy policy!

    Im on my last night at this hotel after over a week of stay. We werent aware of the 5th night promotion and wanted to see if we could stay the 10th night for free. I called the front desk and a lady named Heather, who apparently is the assistant manager of some type, tells me to call the main Marriott number for this. After bouncing back and forth and calls being dropped a couple of times, I learned that the authority to make this change lies with the hotel and by her last comments, it was apparent she knew this all along. Why she made me then waste my time (before she finally tells me at the end, that she chooses not to accommodate us on this matter), is a mystery and a source of frustration. The fact that the main Marriott also played along with this and did not give me a direct answer until the third call, is also frustrating. To cap everything, Heather also claimed that someone from my room checked out a few days ago when I first called about this matter. When I told her that was not possible since it was my son and myself, she insisted that one of us did. When I asked if she checked the ID or the room key to make sure, especially since we had many more nights in on the reservation, she replied Im not going to check every guy who tells me he is checking out. Her response was more belligerent than that text may seem. She was argumentative and confrontational from the beginning. As a long time Marriott member, I can say that this is my first experience like this from one of their properties. When I finally met her, her body language and facial expressions were even worse than her tone over the phone. I cant believe management allows this type of attitude from one of their employees, let alone one of their managers. Stay away from this property and maybe also think about looking at other hotel chains. If they are like this when they are not busy due to Covid-19, then how will they treat their customers when things are busy again...?

    Elite members-hating hotel

    This hotel has eliminated all Titanium Elite benefits. You have to pay for breakfast, lounge is closed and upgrades are denied. "We can not afford to upgrade people". The room goes unsold anyway as I was checking in at 1 am....but I am so glad you saved it from these annoying elite members! The room was awful. Very stuffy. The weather was beautiful outside, but only in the morning I was informed when weather is nice, AC is basically useless and room may get stuffy. It sure did! AC unit was very loud bur produced no air. Front desk simply confirmed that every room is the same way. Very uncomfortable stay.

    Still One Of My Favorite Hotels

    This is a go to hotel for me and our family. Why? They do customer service right EVERY time. I've called while in route to see when the kitchen closes and they have taken an order over the phone to have it ready on my arrival and taken my drink order and pour it just as I get to the desk. They have managed to make everyone feel welcome and like they matter in the midst of COVID.
