    The LA gem I cant wait to visit again!

    While traveling to visit family in LA I needed to stay in a hotel for one day to give me space and privacy to take a series of important calls. I had heard wonderful things about this property and decided to stay there. I am so incredibly glad I did. They have a lush entrance area / lobby with gorgeous decor and mile high ceilings. Not to mention a restaurant which looked exquisite. I cant wait until it opens back up! Once I got to my room I was amazed at just how upscale it was. It was comparable, if not superior to some Ritz properties that Ive visited. The bathroom is what really stood out- gorgeous tile, rainfall shower... all of it screams luxury. Out of all the hotels I have stayed at in LA, how could I miss this one? With meetings all morning and no chunk of time long enough to go grab some breakfast, I called downstairs to see where the closest coffee shop was. You can imagine how pleased I was to hear that there is a full Starbucks store inside of the hotel!! The staff was incredibly accommodating- from putting me on the club level, to making sure I wasnt disturbed during conference calls, and giving me the room closest to the elevator (personal preference). I was also very impressed by their covid precautions. I felt completely safe. I had the pleasure of speaking with the director of sales and marketing, Fred Kokash. What a kind and lively man! He answered all my questions about the property at length, and went out of his way to see if there was anything he could do to make my stay better. I could hear him smiling through the phone, and his upbeat personality really conveyed his love and dedication for the hotel. Those interactions are what really makes a difference for me and make me want to come back to a hotel time after time. I wish I would have been able to stay here pre-covid and enjoyed the amenities, but it did not stop me from having an excellent stay. I will be back soon!

    Great Hotel! You would be very pleased.

    I booked last minute because i was near by the area, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations: WAS PHENOMENAL! Since i get to the hotel nice and warm greeting from the front desk clerk that night, very nice and makes me feel welcomed right away. Check in was nice, fast and easy, and she gaves me a bag with some waters and advertisements, i completely regret not have stayed there more nights, but i can't wait to have to go to that area again and stay in here! Rooms and everything very good cared.

    Terrible service

    Among all the Marriot establishments that I have stayed at, Sheraton San Gabriel's service has gone to a new low. They will not acknowledge Marriot Titanium member and the front desk gave you rude kind of attitude. There are no slippers or dental kits provided and they said it is due to the pandemic, whereas other Sheraton hotels always have this basic amenities. When you enter this hotel, it does not feel like a hotel and it feels like you are in other country; almost all directions were written in foreign (chinese) language, and the manager on duty will not really care about hotel's standard of service. We were given a small paper bag with 2 water bottles and they took the bag from the floor behind the front desk. The small white paper bags filled with water bottles are placed on the floor where the front desk people are walking around. If this Sheraton cares so much about the pandemic by not providing some amenities, why would they put those paper bags filled with bottled water on the floor where they walked? Are their shoes even clean? Also, the water pressure inside the room has issue. We were supposed to have late check out, and on the check-out day, the staff knocked our room door every hour at 1pm, 2pm and 3 pm. This type of behavior is unacceptable especially when the hotel has only 10% of occupancy rate during my stay. Enough said, I won't recommend this hotel at all.

    Wonderful Quiet Stay

    We had a nice stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and very quiet. Room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurants were closed, but we were given a list of local restaurants near by. Nothing really within walking distance.

    New and comfortable

    The hotel is new and in a great location, within walking distance to many restaurants nearby and easy access to the freeways. The decor feels modern and elegant, and the rooms are very clean and comfy. The only complaint is most of the amenities are not available during Covid (gym, on site restaurants, club lounge), which is totally understandable, but it would make gold and platinum elite members feel much better if they can offer something instead like free on site parking during this time.
