    Poor service

    Poor service. Took more than an hour just to check in. No bellboy. Short on staff & bad assistance. Not recommended for busy season or long weekend stay. I booked 3 rooms, not even one room ready to check in for more than an hour. So disappointing.

    Dilapidated and In Serious Need of Refurbishment

    While "dilapidated" is probably a strong word, but it was pretty much how I felt about the hotel after 2 nights of business trip, considering Sheraton Lampung is supposed to be a 4-Star hotel and part of Marriott chain. Although I must admit the hotel has its charm and its potential should proper refurbishment be made. To begin with, the corridor connecting the lower parking area and the lobby was dark, messy, and felt abandoned. The Lobby is a nicer part of the hotel, while not very expansive and a bit old style, it is well maintained. The staffs were the best part of Sheraton Lampung, with the majority being friendly and communicative (which bumped the rating 1 point up). Getting to the room was another mixed feeling, while I love the garden and the open space, the floor tiles looked very old, perhaps from the 80s. To make things worse, I suspect the floors were only cleaned perhaps once every two days. I had room 120 which felt very, very old. The design of the bed headboard seems quite recent, which was perplexing as the rest of the room showed so much wear. There were enormous amount stains on the wall below the desk. Didn't want to investigate what the stains were as it was such a major turn off that I opted not using the desk at all. There was a very visible huge stain on the side of the bed headboard which made me wonder why the housekeeping did not bother to clean it. Again, no wanting to see what it was, but definitely enough to keep me restless during the first night. The lamp on one of the bedside table appeared to a Frankenstein, as the switch seemed to be taken from something else for a makeshift repair. The bed however, felt comfortable and the bedsheet was clean. The door opening to the garden has wide gaps on several sides, which was not a wonder why the room had lots of mosquitoes. The curtain looked dirty with black stains... Getting into the bathroom, it really felt that it was not cleaned at all. Smell of piss when sitting on the toilet seat, most likely coming from the splashed around the toilet and very visible marks on the front side of the toilet. I had to wipe the toilet seat before using it the first time, finding the tissue used become yellowish afterward. The shower had left over hairs and stains on the wall and glass door... The wardrobe door did not function well, ended up not using the wardrobe at all as I opted keeping everything in my bag. The safe deposit box did not function at first and I must have the battery changed first. And it was not bolted to the floor and easily be removed from the room. And all this remains even after I asked the front desk to have the housekeeping to redo my room, right after check-in and before leaving for first meeting for the day. The housekeeping did came and cleaned the leaves on the floor coming from outside, but judging from how everything else was left as it was, I guess it's really a matter of training and having the housekeeping staffs understand the standard expected from Sheraton brand. The restaurant area can use more lighting during breakfast as it felt really dim in the morning. Quality of food can also use some improvement, albeit a good amount of options. Overall, Sheraton Lampung may be nice compared to local hotels, but in its current condition, definitely not up to international standard (as expected from a Marriott chain). While the design (which I actually like a lot) is similar to that of Sheraton Bandung, the level of maintenance and quality needs major improvement.

    Staycation dreamer

    spend time at this hotel with various activities such as a fairly large outdoor swimming, workout at the gym, or if your hobby is a tennis court at the hotel is also available. This hotel is located in the city center of Bandar Lampung, around it there is a center for typical Lampung souvenirs. Some things that need attention are the details on the furniture that needs to be updated, the bed also needs to be updated for guest comfort. in general, it is comfortable to stay at this hotel.

    To much Party

    Nice Hotel and again very friendly Staff. But over christmas was 3 merry party and all time it was raining so the marry partys needed very long time. Was not so nice for swimming but ok. The decoration for christmas was awesome.

    Old Hotel with good services

    We spent 3 nights here last February on our visit to Lampung and were upgraded to Executive suite room due to my Titanium elite status. This Sheraton Lampung hotel is quite old, around 30 years old with some renovations have been done. Negative side: - Rooms are still looks very old, seems not completely renovated even though TV and sofa looks quite new. Gym is very old. - Rooms are not completely clean, especially in the bathroom. - Bathroom tub is not very appealing. - Health protocols are not very strict even though not bad. In the lobby you still can see some guests moving around without mask freely, the staffs didnt do anything. - During breakfast, buffet was served and while the main section are being served by staffs only there are quite a few other sections were on self service method, which is strongly not recommended during this pandemic season. Positive side: - Staffs services and attitude are very good in general, especially on the restaurant serving breakfast. - Room size is big - Bed is still quite good with full king size - Rain shower is working well with very good water pressure - Food selections and quality during breakfast were very good and enjoyable. - Location of the hotel is very good, in the center of the city. - TV is new and comes with smart TV model so you can access Netflix, etc. I would recommend they completely renovated the room, surely it will make them able to attract more guests as well as get full 5 stars rating. Also, full compliance / strict health protocols must be implemented consistently throughout the hotel.
