  Not recommended

  The hotel is beautiful inside however it is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. All night you can hear noise from the restaurants, sirens and traffic. Sleep is a rarity staying here. The hotel is well kept, clean and very modern and staff is super friendly.

  Disappointing

  I should start that I am a Bon Voy Platinum Elite member, and I normally stay at Marriotts. But, Sheraton is now part of Bon Voy. My room was small and the bathroom was tiny.....extremely tiny! The lobby and the elevators smelled like bleach the entire 5 days I was there....to the point it gave me a headache. When I checked in, it took 3 tries to get my room key to work...meaning I got the key, went up the elevator (which is crazy slow!!) but key didn't work so I went back downstairs (lugging my bags the entire time) and they gave me another set of keys which didn't work, so I went back down a third time and this time they had someone go with me and the keys didn't work...so the employee with me said it was a problem with the keys and he left to make me another set, and they did work....not sure why the front desk person couldn't get them programmed? Back to the room. The shower curtain was weird and kept sticking to me and it also didn't keep the water in the tub so I had a small flood every morning in my bathroom. The water flow was crazy strong but it was near impossible to get a good temperature...I was lucky to have a lukewarm shower. My view was of a roof top littered with trash with air conditioning units on top. I had room service twice for breakfast, it was super expensive! The first time the food was okay. The second the food was terrible! My over easy eggs were burnt to the point they were rubbery and there was no liquid yolk at all! Bacon was burnt as well! We were part of a convention at the hotel and the catered food was not good. I would not stay at this location again.

  Updated and Fresh!

  I spent 4 nights here this month. The hotel looks great!! Rooms are clean and comfortable. I was impressed by the staff - everyone was friendly and made an effort to talk! Check in was easy and the Concierge lounge was nice. Location was decent - easy Uber ride downtown. We walked to several restaurants nearby - about a 7-10 minute walk.

  Great Stay!!!

  Wonderful stay! The rooms were extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are updated with plenty of counter space. Workout facility has lots of equipment. Hotel staff was phenomenal. When checking in, they were so friendly and kind. I'll be moving there in a few months and they gave several recommendations of places to visit and areas to look for apartments. After a long day of traveling, I couldn't have asked for a better stay! Parking was very convenient also.

  Someone should tell staff about the whole mask thing

  Stayed one night, Friday July 17. Most staff members either didn't wear a mask at all, or wore them with their noses sticking out. People: if I can see your entire nose, and the top of your mask is at your upper lip, then your mask isn't doing a thing! Even at check-in, which involved usual five-minute conversation, the gentleman checking me in had his mask beolw his nose the entire time. That's more than the housekeepers and the renovation staff trooping around the lobby -- none of them even had a mask in sight. Has no one heard of the Governor's order, about common sense, and about the critical need for the hotel industry to be trusted? I'm a physician and surgeon with public health training. I don't feel safe visiting the Sheraton/Meridien again until after this pandemic is well past.
