  Good Enough Stay

  I had a good enough stay, the hotel is older but well kept and freshly reno'ed. Club lounge was basic but adequate and service was good. This hotel is large and has a steak house, lounge, restaurant, coffee bar and Neighborhood type PUB and club lounge, parking is adequate and close. I am titanium and was upgraded to a nice one bedroom suite that was clean and comfortable which I was very appreciative unfortunately it came at the cost of a view of machinery and cement wall for a view, also had a connecting door to another room that had kids yelling until midnight. Check in was adequate only, not really very friendly and certainly was not welcomed as a valued Bonvoy member, also no note in room from GM etc as other full service Marriott's do. The beds was very comfortable, internet worked good and they even had Starbucks coffee in the room. Positives out weighed any cons. Lot's of competition for hotel room's in the area. Overall a good stay.

  Family staycation

  In the absence of a warm holiday this winter due to an overwhelming work schedule, our family with young children stayed here for one night over the Family Day weekend. We were very happy with staying here. We booked a two queen room, and at check in, we were notified that we had been upgraded to a suite with a sitting parlour and sofa bed due to my platimum Bonvoy status. It really worked out for our family. The kids enjoyed the waterpark area, with the two large slides, a decent sized swimming pool, and hot tub area. We especially appreciated the constant presence of staff during the time the pool was filled with people. They weren't lifeguards, but did maintain a sense of organized chaos. As far as the club lounge goes, the hot food served during the evening and breakfast was very good, whenever there was any. The food had to come from the ground floor, and it took a good while for the chafing plates to be refilled. We are already trying to figure out another time to drive crosstown and stay at this hotel.

  Beautiful hotel

  Customer service is top notch at this hotel. Ive stayed here many times and always enjoy it. On my last trip I was there for a full week for business and the hotel upgraded me to a luxury suite at no extra charge for the full week, what a treat! The room was fabulous! Looking forward to more stays at this hotel.

  Incredible Service

  Have been staying here for a weekend on a monthly bases since the reopening of Calgary. We had stayed here years ago but usually stay at an alternate property in the city however we thought we would give it a try again. Rooms are well appointed, spotless and super comfortable bed. Small gestures noted in room from sanitized items to extra wipes available. But the biggest selling feature is the fabulous service!! All the staff we have had the pleasure of dealing with over our multiple stays has been nothing but outstanding. From online chat /emails prior to arrive through check in and check out. Overall service is impeccable. Huge shout out to Karly in Henry's Pub and Aiden at the Front Desk for always taking care of us. We will definitely be back!!!!!

  Lovely Suite

  Due to our Bonvoy status we were fortunate to be upgraded to a lovely suite at the Sheraton Cavalier on our most recent stay. Although the Club Lounge is currently closed due to Covid 19, we were very impressed with the appetizer tray that was offered at Harry's Pub in lieu and the breakfast in the restaurant the next morning which was excellent. We had super service in both locations. Comfortable room, great sleep. Only downside was the waterslide area was very crowded in spite of the hotel having strict rules around reservations and the best efforts of staff to move people on after their reserved time was over. In these times it is too bad people don't abide by the restrictions that are made in the best interest of their health.
