  Front desk doesnt answer phone

  Full on party in the room next to me called front desk 3 times no answer I let it ring until the system disconnected me. Used my cell phone to call the hotel front desk using their main number and they answered that promptly. They answer external calls but ignore internal calls.

  Worth the trip

  Thank you to the management and staff for hosting our Veterans group. This is a great weekend getaway location with waterfront views and plenty of amenities to entertain yourself or the whole family. (The sunset views are also amazing)

  Warrior Beach Retreat

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was beautiful and clean. The wife and I have no complaints unless you really look for something to complain about. After 2020 being able the travel again this was a blessing of a trip. Thank you for your hosting Warrior Beach Retreat.

  Couldn't been killed

  If I could do 0 Stars, I would. Beware. wI as scheduled to check in Feb 25th. I received keys from front desk which didn't work the first time. I went back to have it fixed. They again sent me back to the magnolia building. We used the key card to access the room and it is clearly occupied with someone's purse, belongings etc. I immediately went to the desk to cancel our stay. They attempted to give us another room. I declined because at this point I cannot trust your staff to properly assign room keys. The hotel itself was nothing to talk about... dark and dingy. The fact that they were so nonchalant about it but had someone been killed or robbed it would have been an issue. Florida is a stand your ground state as we learned in the case of Trayvon Martin and you have us, 2 Black people, entering a room belonging to someone else and all I can think is this could have been fatal. Now I don't feel safe staying here because what if this happens during my stay and someone walks into my room? NOT SAFE. No apology was issued. I contacted corporate and was told I would get a call back from a supervisor and nothing. I'm appalled and tell everyone on our staff that the Sheraton is no longer an option for anyone to stay at when we travel to Florida to check our projects. This is concerning to say the least. I hate to use the race card but obviously we weren't even worth a serious apology. I'm sure the people don't even have a clue we were in their room but good thing we're honest people.

  Beautiful, hidden gem!

  I'm a Marriott loyalist and am rarely disappointed, this was no exception. While they could stand to do some in-room updates and maintenance, the rooms are nice. Large rooms with great views, either of the bay or the golf course. Rooms are clean, beds are super comfy and the service is very good. Great options for dining and drinks. I visited the spa and the pool area as well took several walks around the grounds and out to Alligator Point. Ate breakfast at Tides and had cocktails at the bar. Great service and food was good. I travel to Panama City for work regularly and during high season, I hate staying on the beach side because it's so busy. This is a perfect place away from the spring break crowd! Highly recommend the Sheraton at Bay Pointe. Haven't played golf here but the course looks great!
