  Lovely cosy motel in the Town of Murals

  This lovely motel even has it's own murals. It is neat, cosy and well presented and has wonderful views of Mount Roland. The check in was very quick and easy and the manager friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and also has electric blankets which I imagine would be very much appreciated in winter. Our room was a perfect temperature so we didn't need to use the heating or cooling provided. It has all the basics you need, such as extra pillows, microwave, tv, toaster, iron, ironing board and fridge. When I woke up in the morning I went for a walk to view many of the murals, they are absolutely beautiful. My tips: Allow plenty of time to walk around and view and read about the murals. There is no mini bar so byo drinks, snacks, etc. and the breakie menu is pretty basic but there are plenty of cafes very close by to get a good coffee, all day breakfast, etc, bottom line - would I stay again? For sure, in a heartbeat. Great location, great value for money.

  A nice motel

  A standard motel room with a big bed, self catering facilities and a small but sparkling and satisfactory bathroom. Shower was satisfactory with high water pressure. Ideally situated for town and eateries. The receiptionist was friendly and helpful with eating suggestios and other town landmarks. A nice motel in a tidy and pretty town. With all the murals buildings around town Sheffield is well worth a visit.

  Comfortable and quiet stay

  We had a great stay here. Room was comfortable and spacious with queen bed and double bunks. Room had Tv, air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee and tea facilities and free wifi. Lovely clean bathroom facilities. Had a great nights sleep, was very quiet. In Main Street so shops very close by. Lovely Italian restaurant on site and bakery just up the road, very convenient location. Half a dozen lovely murals on the walls around the hotel too!

  Perfectly serviceable motor inn in the heart of Sheffield

  The Sheffield Motor Inn is located on the Main Street of Sheffield, adjacent to its tourist attractions. It actually has some murals on site. It is a very stereotypical motor inn. The rooms were basic but clean. The pricing reflected this. Linen was provided. Hot water worked well. Staff were friendly. Overall a very serviceable place to stay for people visiting Sheffield.

  Lovely hotel in a lovely town

  Recently stayed for several nights at this motor inn right in the heart of town and it was very enjoyable. There were 3 of us and we stayed in an upstairs apartment. The motor inn is very basic in styling, but the beds are comfortable with nice linen and pillows. There is a laundry with coin operated washing machines and a washing line in the large garden area. Sheffield is known for it's many murals and the motor inn has several on it's site. I only ever spoke to one staff member, and she was lovely and very helpful. Being in the heart of town, you can walk to any one of the lovely cafes which all serve very good coffee. We ate at the Italian restaurant (on site), which was excellent, very authentic and also at the town's Chinese restaurant which was also very good. Whilst staying in Sheffield we visited lots of lovely places within driving distance such as House of Anvers (chocolate & fudge) and the amazing shop Reliquaire at Latrobe, Ashgrove Dairy and Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm at Elizabeth Town. Sheffield is definitely worth a few days visit and I would recommend Sheffield Motor Inn for a comfortable stay
