  This is my first time to stay here and I was very impressed. Everything was clean, looked very nice and modern. Due to Covid Dash 19, there were some limitations to eating in the bar and grill or things like that. But as I was there for work I didnt have much extra time and the pizzas I ordered tasted great and just pick them up and took them back to my room. The beds were comfortable but the view was amazing if I go back again, Im going to ask for the same room!

  Above and beyond

  Our family ended up staying here last minute after our original plans fell through. While we were there our son had a bike accident and everyone who worked there went above and beyond to help us, from the bellman who stopped on his way to work to see if we were okay and then delivered us ice to our room, to the front desk staff that made sure we had all the medical supplies we needed and even the restaurant that gave him ice cream because his face was so swollen he could hardly eat anything. They made a tough weekend for a kid so much better. We would definitely recommend Shangri-La in Grand Lake and we will be back.

  Well Done

  First time visitor and it does take awhile to get to it, but I guess that is the charm of the area. Room check in went great. Got to the room and a few hiccups happened.. The bathroom door would not shut and another door really dragged on the floor. We called and they quickly moved us to another room available. Caveat... room 200-208 even numbers are looking at the back of a concrete building, and this is something that might come up and beware of. 3rd floor or higher will get you a better view of the lake and golf course. Room was good.. missing was a luggage rack, but that may be minor thing to you Morning continental was what was expected and plenty of it. Unless you eat on site, the negative is that you have to take the windy road to town. We will be going back soon for the golf and maybe have time for fishing next time. They are in the process of expanding next door and when that is completed, it will be a positive.

  Excellent customer service

  Our stay was an excellent all the way around. Beds were super comfy and room was spotless. Great view of the lake. All employees were friendly and helpful. One small problem was easily and cheerfully remedied by a room change. Pool is beautiful, too bad it was too cold to swim.

  Anniversary 2021

  The wife and I decided to travel a little bit for our anniversary. We normally only go about an hour away from home. We were at Grand Lake over the summer and love it. So when my sister told us about Shangri La Resort we had to try it. I will say our overall experience was outstanding. We will go back. I will start with the room that is my only complaint. We could hear our neighbor's every sound, bathroom, tv, and voice. The room itself very nice, clean and had a great view. Now let me talk about the staff. Over the top is how I would describe them especially the gentleman who drove the shuttle bus and delivered supply to our room. I wish I would have gotten his name. I do know that he was in the military at one point in time. All the staff was great. Very helpful and ready to serve. The weather had everything shut down and I thought our anniversary was going to be a failure. We had to plans for nice dinners and Massages and was getting the news everything was closing. Then the wonderful staff to care of us. Move our messages to be done before they closed and give us a discounted rate for a third night. Overall great place and we enjoyed ourselves. This place is worth the drive.
