  Shangri-La Changchun family trip

  Stayed at the club room with access to the Horizon Club Lounge. Had family members come over to visit and the staff were very accommodating to all of us. Thanks to the entire club lounge staff, both front and kitchen, for the work they put in. A special thanks to: -Sofia/Sunny Zhang for being extra attentive to both my children. A special -Lindy Liu for helping to handle the error regarding my wifes hotel membership account

  amazing experience

  This is my second visit to Changchun this month. I encountered extreme weather conditions, which seemed to be the biggest snowfall this year, and the traffic was paralyzed. Thanks to Daniel Lu's thoughtful arrangement, he provided me with many good suggestions for my trip here, which made my stay in Changchun very well.

  A pleasant stay in the Last Emperor City

  The hotel was well located in the city close all the famous visiting points and restaurants. Inside was clean and well decorated. It provided a decent breakfast which was included. It seemed a very busy hotel with lot of checkin and checkout.

  Excellent western style breakfast

  Good hotel and very good location. Like usually, Shangrila hotel have a good service and well trained staff. This hotel was a bit old fashioned and my room have wall to wall carpet what i personally dislike. Breakfas were very good. Big selection of Chinese and western style food and real coffee! I was happy to stay in Shangrila hotel, only hotel room carpet was disturbing.

  Absolutely pathetic Customer service from front desk to the so called "Deputy Manager" There is no hot water available in the bathroom with peak Winter, minus18 degree Celsius weather and their "technician" took about one hour fiddling about to try to adjust the water temperature. Something like this usually takes less than five minutes to rectify in all hotels and then the audacity of the so called "Deputy Manager" ridiculously asking me to take a walk semi-dressed after 10pm and more than an hour of waiting, to the health club to use the showers!!! Sounds more like she should be working for a gym instead of a so called 5* hotel! So much for a room upgrade... Worst downgrade and stay at an apparent 5* hotel. Will not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It's such a shame.. A beautiful hotel with absolutely pathetic management and customer service!
