  Very good location ..few steps from BTS Chongnonsi

  I accidentally found this apartment. It's located few steps from BTS Chongnonsi and walking distancee to Silom and Sathorn. No Breakfast provided but nearby have many food stalls in the morning and in evening have a good seafood restaurant next to apartment. Room quality quite good and spacious compare to other same price hotels nearby. Top floor have small swimming pool that allow u see Panorama view of Bangkok. Reception staff working from 9.00 am - 9.00 pm.

  Large rooms, quiet, fair price

  Kind of an older building, but well kept interior. We had a "deluxe suite" I think they called it. Two good sized rooms, with the bedroom separate. Two entrances to bathroom, one from living room / kitchen area and another from the bedroom. Full sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot as well as dishes, glasses, spoons, forks, etc. Comfortable sofa. Fairly large flat screen TV. Good restaurant of same name serving mostly Chinese style dishes.On the downside the staff don't speak much English except for the woman who seems to be the owner. The front desk closes at 9:00 PM. You get a key card and PIN to enter at night after that. Visitors are scrutinized and required to have their ID photocopied by the security guard.

  Dinner in Shangarila Suite

  We had a beautiful buffet dinner in Shangarila, i've travelled to more than 35 countries and when comes to dinner Shangarila dinner will come in my mind. This is the first hotel in Thailand i've seen with Indian Buffet corner who serves indian food all the time.

  It's gone - - No longer in business

  I loved the old Shangarila, but alas, it's gone. It closed it's doors early 2017. Young new owners have recently taken over the building and renovated to give the place a glitzy new look and hip appeal, but the place is no longer a residence where you can do a bit of cooking of your own in the room.

  nice place to stay

  we stayed at shangarila suite for 2 nights.it is well designed hotel with nice and clean rooms.all the basic required amenities were provided by them.staff was well trained and friendly.food of the hotel was also very good.totally enjoyed stay.
